Corpuz is a fourth class municipality in the province of Masbate, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 23,292 people. In 1951, the barrios of Limbuhan, Guindawahan, Palho, Casabangan, Salvacion, Alegria, Tanke, Bundukan, Bugtong, and Cabangrayan were separated from the town of Cataingan and created into the town of Limbuhan.The town got its current name in 1954 and it

named in honor of the late Congressman of Masbate, Don Pio V. Corpuz is politically subdivided into 18 barangays.[2] Sitio Bugang was converted into a barrio in 1957.[6]

Kaisa po kaming bumabati sa ating Pamahalaang Bayan at sa ating mga kababayan sa pagdiriwang ng ika-69 na pagkakatatag ng Pio V. Corpus (Limbuhan), Masbate.

Ang ating bayan ay natatag sa pamamagitan ng Republic Act No. 641 noong June 11, 1951, nilalayon nitong ihiwalay ang dating barrio Limbuhan, na noo'y nakapasailalim sa bayan ng Cataingan, at gawing bayan na may siyam na barrio sa ilalim nito.

Manatili na lamang sa bahay ang walang mahalagang gagawin sa labas upang maiwasan ang pagkakuha ng sakit, at maikalat ito sa kung saan man at di mahawa ang ating mga mahal sa buhay, at laging mag-ingat po ang mga kailangan maghanap buhay.

BREAKING: President Rodrigo Duterte extends the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and 'all other high risk' areas including ALBAY AND CATANDUANES until May 15, 2020.

The extension of the ECQ in Camarines Sur is still under evaluation as it is considered among "Moderate-risk areas".
