This is to inform the public that 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 remains 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 following its official closure in 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵.

The closure was implemented by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to protect the island’s 𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀, which are highly vulnerable to disturbance and pollution caused by human activities.

In line with this, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲. Any attempt to enter or visit the island is considered a violation of existing environmental protection regulations.

This measure is strictly enforced to ensure the 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘀.
