INSTALLATION OF LANDSLIDE HAZARD SIGNAGES | BRGY. LAKANDULA

As part of the continuing efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness and public safety, the Local Government Unit of Placer, through the MDRRMO Placer, assisted in the installation of Landslide Hazard Signages in Barangay Lakandula.

The activity aims to provide clear hazard information and remind residents and motorists to remain vigilant, especially during prolonged or heavy rainfall. These signages serve as an important reminder to the public in areas identified as prone to landslides.

The LGU-Placer sincerely extends its appreciation to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) for providing and supporting this important project for the safety and protection to the community.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Placer successfully conducted another set of Active Attack Shooting Incident Drills in various schools within the Municipality of Placer.

The activity was conducted at the following schools:

📍 Sta. Cruz Elementary School
📍 Macalaya Elementary School
📍 Mabini Elementary School

The activity aims to strengthen the preparedness, response, coordination, and emergency management capabilities of school personnel and learners in the event of an active attack or other emergency situations.

The MDRRMO-Placer remains committed to working closely with schools and partner agencies in promoting a culture of preparedness, safety, and resilience within the community.
