Student journalists from 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗔. 𝗙𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗢 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 earned 𝟭𝟵 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 in various English and Filipino journalism events during the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, held on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟮-𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

With the theme, “𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺,” the two-day training-workshop provided learners with opportunities to enhance their competencies in various fields of campus journalism and to develop a deeper appreciation of ethical, accurate, and responsible journalism.

The 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 received recognition in both the 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, garnering 𝟳 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝟴 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝟯 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵.

The meaningful ceremony was held in conjunction with the 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, carrying the theme:

Yesterday, the Amandoian family gathered to honor and bid farewell to two esteemed educators whose dedication, passion, and commitment have left an unforgettable mark on Amando A. Fabio Memorial National High School.

With hearts full of gratitude and pride, we celebrated the meaningful contributions of Sir Anthony Glen F. Masuhay, SST-II, and Ma’am Realyn Ceros, SST-I, as they begin a new chapter in their professional journey in another school.

Throughout their years of service, they have exemplified the core values of the Department of Education through excellence, integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the welfare and growth of every learner. The SPTA General Assembly encouraged meaningful collaboration among school officials, teachers, parents, and stakeholders, highlighting the vital role of every family in supporting the holistic growth, academic achievement, and character formation of every learner. 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 successfully conducted its 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, demonstrating the unwavering commitment of our school community to 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Through the active participation of our learners, teachers, non-teaching personnel, and school leaders—collectively known as the 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀—we strengthened our 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, practiced proper emergency procedures, and reinforced the importance of remaining 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱, and 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 in times of crisis.

This activity served as a powerful reminder that disasters can happen without warning, but through 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, we can protect lives and build a 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. The 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 displayed by the 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 reflect our shared dedication to fostering a culture of 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in accordance with 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱'𝘀 advocacy for 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠).

As proud 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, let us continue to stand together—𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁, 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱, and 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱—for the well-being of one another and our community.

𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On the morning of 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟬𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a renewed sense of purpose and commitment marked the official opening of 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 at 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗔. 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, as the institution successfully implemented 𝗢𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
From the early hours of the day, the campus came to life as 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 assembled in unity, reflecting a shared commitment to education and excellence. The orderly and systematic flow of activities demonstrated the school’s preparedness in ensuring a smooth, safe, and learner-centered opening of classes.

Under the proactive and strategic leadership of 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗥. 𝗢𝘃𝗮𝗹, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗜𝗜, the school upheld the standards and directives of the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, ensuring the effective delivery of 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for all learners.
The occasion was further distinguished by the visit of key stakeholders and education leaders, as 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗝. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮, Education Program Supervisor for EPP/TLE/TVL, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗣. 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗝𝗿., Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division, personally observed and extended their support to the school’s implementation of opening activities. Their presence affirmed the Schools Division Office’s continuing guidance and commitment to educational excellence.

In the same spirit of support and collaboration, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼, Kagawad of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Placer, Surigao del Norte, also graced the occasion, reflecting the strong partnership between the local government and the school in advancing the welfare of learners.

Moreover, the presence of 𝗔𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗟. 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁, 𝗦𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, further emphasized the vital role of sustained collaboration between parents and the school in fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.

The school likewise conveys its deepest appreciation to the 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹, whose 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ensured the successful, organized, and meaningful opening of classes. Their continued efforts remain essential in nurturing a 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Indeed, the successful conduct of 𝗢𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 stands as a manifestation of the collective dedication of all stakeholders to uphold 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 in the delivery of basic education.
