A night of elegance, pride, and celebration as Concepcion National High School (CNHS) held its Induction Ball and Coronation of the SPTA Muses 2026, recognizing the beauty, confidence, and leadership of this year's outstanding muses while formally inducting the new set of SPTA officers.

The event was graced by the presence of Municipal Mayor Jose D. Saavedra, together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan, whose support reflects the local government's continued commitment to strengthening education and fostering strong partnerships with the educational community.

๐ŸŒด Simultaneous Massive Coconut Planting Program ๐ŸŒด

Nakiisa ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Plaridel, sa pangunguna ni Mayor Jose D. Saavedra, kasama si PCA Coordinator Alyssa L. Aldemo, at ang Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) ng Plaridel, mga Punong Barangay, at iba pang mga katuwang na ahensya sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng Simultaneous Massive Coconut Planting Program sa ilalim ng "Bayang Yugan Ka Ako" ng Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).

Layunin ng programang ito na mapalawak ang pagtatanim ng niyog, mapangalagaan ang ating kalikasan, at mapalakas ang kabuhayan ng mga magniniyog. Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng lokal na pamahalaan, PCA, MAO, at mga barangay, patuloy nating isinusulong ang isang mas luntian, mas maunlad, at mas matatag na kinabukasan para sa Bayan ng Plaridel.

PAGCOR DISTRIBUTES FOOD AND NON-FOOD PAILS TO PLARIDEL BENEFICIARIES

PLARIDEL, QUEZON | August 18, 2026 The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Plaridel, conducted the distribution of food and non-food pails to beneficiaries in the municipality on August 18, 2026.

The activity provided essential assistance to qualified recipients while ensuring an orderly and efficient distribution process through the coordinated efforts of the LGU and partner agencies.

The LGU also acknowledges the BFP Plaridel Fire Station for providing on-site medical assistance and immediate response to beneficiaries who experienced minor health concerns during the distribution.

The Local Government Unit extends its sincere appreciation to PAGCOR and all agencies, personnel, and volunteers who contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

Alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) dahil sa patuloy na epekto ng HABAGAT (Southwest Monsoon), WALANG PASOK ngayong Agosto 18, 2026 (Martes) sa lahat ng antas ng mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Plaridel, Quezon, at ipatutupad ang Alternative Learning Modes (ALMs) sa mga paaralan upang matiyak ang pagpapatuloy ng pagkatuto sa kabila ng suspensyon ng klase. Ang suspensyon ay ipinatutupad bilang pag-iingat at upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel.

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 127 issued by the Office of the President, the Municipality of Plaridel, Quezon hereby adopts and implements the directives contained therein effective 12:00 PM, 17 August 2026, in view of the continuous heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.

The Municipality enjoins everyone to comply with the provisions of the Memorandum Circular and to remain vigilant as weather conditions continue to be monitored by the concerned government agencies.

Please be informed that pursuant to Malacaรฑang Memorandum Circular No. 126, classes in ALL LEVELS, including Alternative Learning System (ALS), in both public and private schools, are hereby SUSPENDED this afternoon, August 14, 2026 (Friday).

๐Ÿซ Schools are directed to adopt appropriate Alternative Learning Modes (ALMs), as applicable, to ensure the safety and protection of all learners and academic personnel.

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT: This suspension applies ONLY to classes and does NOT include the suspension or cancellation of work in government offices.
