The grease was thick, the bamboo was high, but the spirit of our local contenders was even higher! One of the most anticipated highlights of the Paugnat Festival 2026 took center stage today: the traditional Palo Sebo.

It’s more than just a game; it’s a test of pure "diskarte," strength, and incredible patience. Watching our participants defy gravity (and a lot of lard!) to reach the prize at the peak reminded everyone why this Pinoy classic remains a festival favorite.
