Behind this recognition are the efforts that rarely make it into the spotlight, countless meetings, programs, coordination, volunteer work, and the simple decision to keep showing up for the youth. Today, those efforts have once again reached beyond our municipality and have been recognized provincially.

As rising prices and inflation continue to shape the everyday realities of Filipinos, the Final Q&A opened a timely conversation on accountability, responsibility, and the role of government in addressing the concerns of its people. In responding to the question, 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝘂 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻 emphasized the importance of holding the government accountable for its actions and, beyond accountability, ensuring that governance truly empowers the people.

For 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿, good governance means giving the people an equal opportunity to have a voice and demand better from their government. When decisions and actions of those in power affect the lives of the people, citizens must be empowered to speak, participate, and call for the accountability they deserve.

For 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿, this is why 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 is not just an advocacy; it is a 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. It calls on both 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 to recognize that meaningful governance cannot exist without the participation of the people it seeks to serve. Beyond the stage and the spotlight, 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 is a celebration of young individuals who step forward to represent their communities. Proudly representing 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟯, 𝗥𝗵𝘆𝘇 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗿, 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗼, and 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 carried with them not only the name of their cluster, but also the hopes, pride, and aspirations of the youth they represented.

Their presence in this year’s celebration is a testament to the courage it takes to step forward, be seen, and become a voice for the community. Each brought their own story and perspective to the stage, yet all shared one purpose, it is to represent with pride and contribute to a celebration that puts the youth at the heart of the conversation.
