Yesterday was a proud and exciting day,
we witnessed the grand opening of the Mayor’s Cup, and the SK Federation Inter-Barangay Basketball League 2026. So many smiles, so much energy, daw indi mapunggan ang excitement sa palibot.

SK Barangay Ilaya council was there, present gid kag handa, showing full support para sa aton liga, cheering together with joy and unity, para sa tanan nga players.

It was more than just a game, it was community and pride, kag isa ka dako nga celebration sang sports kag pag ululupod, daw tanan nagahugpong para sa isa ka tuyo, nga magpadayon ang kasadya kag kalingaw sang aton barangay sa court. 💗✨

This month, we celebrate strength, courage, and resilience. Women’s Month is for every woman who had to fight to be seen, to be heard, and to be respected. It is for every mother, sister, daughter, leader, and friend who continues to stand tall bisan madamo ang challenges nga gin-agyan.

Padayon nga nagapakita sang gugma, kasadya, kag paglaum sa komunidad.

Today, let’s remember the courage of the people who stood along 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, hand in hand, heart to heart. Hindi sila armado, wala silang dalang galit, ang dala nila ay paninindigan at dasal. Our parents and grandparents fought not with violence but with faith and unity. They faced tanks with rosaries and songs. They chose democracy over fear. Huwag nating kalimutan ang sakripisyo nila para sa kalayaan na tinatamasa natin ngayon.
