WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AND FLOODING OVER CARAGA REGION, NORTHERN MINDANAO AND CENTRAL VISAYAS DUE TO POTENTIAL STORM

Malawakang ulan at baha posibleng maranasan ng mga taga Caraga Region-Northern Mindanao at Central Visayas dahil sa potential na bagyong (Dec.19-21).

Base sa latest forecast maaring tawirin ng potential na bagyong ang CARAGA REGION, NORTHERN MINDANAO AT CENTRAL VISAYAS simula Biyernes hanggang sa Sabado (Dec.20-21).

Everyone is advised to continue monitoring for updates and adhere to the instructions of the local disaster and emergency risk team for safety.

2024 National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) Provincial Culmination

In line with the Celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2024, the Local Government Unit of Poona Piagapo, Lanao Del Norte headed by Hon. Muslima T. Macol, Local Chief Executive through its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) participated the NDRM Provincial Culmination Program held at Tinago Falls, Linamon, Lanao Del Norte on July 30-31, 2024.

DATE: JUNE 2, 2024 (Sunday)

REASON/ S: Shutdown of LANECO Agus 6-Kauswagan 69kV Transmission Line to facilitate the following activities:

1. Testing of Instrument Transformer at Agus-6 for the relocation of Metering Point (MF3MAG6LANE01) of LANECO in preparation for 18MW Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) of Liangan Power Corp. (LPC) commissioning and Feedback Power anytime soon.
2. Visual Inspection of LANECO and LPC Substation Protection Coordination Relay Equipment
3. 69kV Transmission Line Clearing Activities.

AREAS AFFECTED: Entire Municipality of Maigo, Bacolod, Munai, Kauswagan, Poona Piagapo, Linamon and Matungao, Lanao del Norte.

Power service will resume immediately as soon as the activities will be completed not necessarily following the above-given schedule.
