The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in partnership with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) through the Special Drug Education Center (SDEC), successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Orientation today.

The activity equipped participants with essential lifesaving knowledge and skills, reinforcing our commitment to building a safer, more resilient, and prepared community.

This initiative was made possible through the unwavering support of Acting Municipal Mayor Hon. Jen Capil, whose commitment to disaster preparedness and community welfare continues to inspire meaningful programs for the people of Porac.

Today, the Porac Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) attended the Recognition and Psychosocial Debriefing organized by the Pampanga Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) in recognition of the responders who were deployed to Angeles City.

The activity served as an opportunity to honor the dedication, courage, and selfless service of all responders while providing psychosocial support to help them process the challenges they encountered during the operation.

The participation of the Porac delegation was made possible through the unwavering support of Mayor Jing Capil and Acting Mayor Jen Capil, whose continued commitment to strengthening disaster response and ensuring the welfare of our responders remains invaluable.

Another successful Mass CPR Training was conducted today, with 50 students from Katutubo Village ES and 50 students from Manibaug Pasig Elementary School (Madapdap Annex), reaching a total of 100 trained learners.

Through this initiative, we continue to equip our youth with life-saving skills and promote a culture of preparedness and resilience.

This activity was facilitated by Marweil Mallari, Carlos Jacob De Leon, Omar De Vera, Raffy Cubacub, and Jaydee Rivera.

With the full support of Acting Mayor Trisha Angelie G. Capil, the Municipality of Porac remains committed to building a safer and more resilient community.

Mass CPR Training Continues!

The Porac Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) successfully conducted another batch of its Mass CPR Training as part of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026 celebration.

A total of 260 pupils were trained from the following schools:

* Sepung Bulaun Elementary School – 56 pupils
* Jalung Elementary School – 50 pupils
* Senura Elementary School – 59 pupils
* Babo Sakan Elementary School – 95 pupils

Through this initiative, learners are equipped with life-saving CPR skills, helping build a more prepared, resilient, and emergency-ready community.
