PUBLIC ADVISORY
Effective July 20, 2026, the Municipality of Pototan will implement a new office work schedule pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 and Executive Order No. 83, s. 2026.

Office hours will be Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Work From Home every Friday. This arrangement shall remain in effect until the memorandum is lifted.

Essential offices, including the MHO, MDRRMO, MENRO, Public Market, and Traffic Enforcement Unit, will continue their regular operations to ensure uninterrupted public service.

The public is advised to take note of the updated schedule when planning transactions with the LGU. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Municipal Tourism Officer, Ms. Riza M. Holland, together with the staff, recently visited the Lamis Grape Farm in Barangay Pitogo, Pototan, Iloilo to explore one of the municipality's emerging agri-tourism destinations.

The visit included grape picking and an opportunity to meet and engage with the Lamis family, whose dedication has transformed their farm into a unique attraction that showcases agricultural innovation and farm-based tourism. The exchange provided valuable insights into the farm's operations, its development, and its potential to contribute to Pototan's growing tourism industry.

As a municipality with strong agricultural roots, Pototan continues to promote destinations that highlight local farming communities while creating meaningful experiences for visitors. Initiatives such as the Lamis Grape Farm demonstrate how agriculture and tourism can work hand in hand to support local livelihoods and encourage sustainable rural tourism.

Afternoon Highlights 🌈

The celebration concluded with a Talent Showcase, providing members of the LGBTQIA+ community an opportunity to share their talents and celebrate self-expression in an inclusive and supportive environment.

HIGHLIGHTS | Provincial Pride Month Celebration 2026 🌈

The Provincial Pride Month Celebration 2026 brought together advocates, local government units, community organizations, and allies in a day of learning, solidarity, and celebration.

The morning opened with a symposium on Mental Health and HIV Prevention, followed by a Pride March that affirmed the community’s call for equality, inclusion, and the protection of human rights. The celebration concluded with a Talent Showcase, recognizing the creativity and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride is not only a celebration of identity. It is a call to uphold equal rights, end discrimination, and ensure that every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, safety, and respect.

Equality is not a privilege. It is a right.
