โ€œPatuloy ang ating kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga. Ang layunin natin ay hindi lang ang mahuli ang mga lumalabag, kundi mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng bawat barangay. This is about protecting families and securing the future of our youth,โ€ PGen Nartatez said.

He added that the PNP will further strengthen intelligence-led operations and cooperation with partner agencies and communities to maintain momentum on the ground.

โ€œMakakaasa ang publiko na tuloy-tuloy ang ating operasyon. We are here on the ground, working day and night to keep our communities safe,โ€ he added.

The PNP reiterated its commitment to continue its proactive and community-centered policing approach as it advances its nationwide anti-illegal drug campaign, aligned with the vision of โ€œBagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.โ€

PRO 8 LEADS SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRODUCTION INITIATIVE IN POLICE CAMPS

The Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8), continues to advance practical and community-centered programs with the launch of its โ€œGulayan sa Kampoโ€ initiative, a sustainable food production effort aimed at promoting self-sufficiency, environmental responsibility, and healthier living among police personnel.

Through the program, idle spaces within PRO-8 camps are being transformed into productive gardens that yield fresh vegetables and other produce for personnel consumption. Beyond supplementing daily food requirements, the initiative encourages teamwork, discipline, and shared responsibility among personnel while also promoting organic and environment-friendly practices.

In a statement, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. emphasized the value of initiatives like this in strengthening both morale and resilience within the organization.

โ€œSimple but meaningful efforts like Gulayan sa Kampo remind us that resilience is not only about operational readiness, but also about how we take care of our people. Kapag may malasakit at pagtutulungan, kahit simpleng taniman, nagiging simbolo ito ng pagkakaisa at pag-asa,โ€ he said.

PNP noted that the initiative is also a reflection of the Filipino spirit of adaptability and cooperation, turning available resources into practical solutions that benefit both personnel and the wider community through shared harvests and sustainable practices.

As the PNP continues to embrace programs that are people-centered and future-ready, initiatives like this reinforce its commitment under the message of Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman, bringing service closer to the everyday lives of its personnel and the communities they serve.
