The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) -Office of the Election Officer, President Roxas reminds the public that the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) remain scheduled on November 2, 2026.

โœ…The BSKE 2026 has NOT been postponed.

While there is a proposal filed in Congress seeking to move the elections to 2028, it has NOT been enacted into law. Until an official law is passed and takes effect, the election schedule remains November 2, 2026.

โš ๏ธBeware of fake news and misinformation. Do not rely on unverified social media posts or unofficial sources regarding the status of the elections.

The COMELEC encourages everyone to obtain election-related information only from its official communication channels and the official pages of COMELEC offices.
