SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "ADA" {NOKAEN} was estimated based on all available data at 385 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.2°N, 125.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving North Northeastward at 10 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
Forecast Weather Conditions:
Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Northern Samar will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the TD ADA. (Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains)
Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon. (No significant impact)
Ilocos Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon. (No significant impact)
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the Localized Thunderstorms. (Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms)
The northern and eastern sections of Luzon will have Moderate to Strong winds from the Northeast to Northwest with moderate to rough seas (2.1 to 4.0 m)
The eastern section of Visayas will have Moderate to Strong winds from the Northwest to to West with moderate seas (1.5 to 2.8 m)
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds from the Northeast to Northwest with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.5 m)
