𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || On 30 May 2026, the 1703rd Community Defense Center, 17RCDG, RESCOM, PA, conducted the Familiarization Marksmanship for the participants of the 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐓) 𝐌𝐒 𝟑𝟏–𝟑𝟐 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐒 𝟒𝟏–𝟒𝟐 𝐂𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held at Headquarters, 5th Special Forces Battalion, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne), SOCOM, Philippine Army, Brgy. Irawan, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The activity aimed to familiarize the cadets with the fundamentals of fi****ms handling, range safety procedures, and proper marksmanship techniques while reinforcing discipline, responsibility, and confidence in handling military equipment. Through this training, the participants gained practical exposure and strengthened their knowledge essential to their development as future reserve leaders, fostering preparedness, discipline, and commitment to service to the nation.
Through this activity, the participants enhanced their discipline, confidence, and familiarity with fi****ms handling, further preparing them to become competent, responsible, and mission-ready future reserve leaders. The unit also extends its sincere recognition and gratitude to the personnel of the 5th Special Forces Battalion, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne), SOCOM, Philippine Army, for their invaluable support, accommodation, and assistance as host unit, which significantly contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.
