The Barangay Maligaya proudly held its 1st Quarterly Meeting for our valued Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Senior Citizens — a meaningful gathering dedicated to connection, collaboration, and community empowerment.

This meeting served as an important platform to discuss programs, updates, and initiatives aimed at promoting the welfare, rights, and well-being of our beloved seniors and PWD members. More than just a meeting, it was a celebration of unity, inclusivity, and shared commitment to building a stronger and more compassionate barangay.

For the month of February, Barangay Maligaya successfully conducted a Longganisa and Tocino Making activity as part of our Livelihood Program—an initiative designed to equip our community with practical skills and sustainable income opportunities.

This meaningful activity was led by Hon. Nanette Palanca, Chairperson of the Committee on Women, Family, and Social Services, whose dedication continues to open doors for growth and empowerment among our constituents.

Indeed, every sacrifice is worth it—straight from hospital duty to community work—because serving our people remains our highest calling.

Our sincere appreciation to the Chairperson of the Committee on Health, Hon. Josephine Marcial, for her leadership and guidance. Heartfelt thanks as well to our committed health workers Elisa Estorosas, Cindy Alonsagay Amar, and Krizzia Mae Palanca, along with our hardworking Secretary and Treasurer.

Barangay Maligaya successfully conducted a clearing operation led by Hon. Modesto Arroyo Jr., Chairman of the Committee on Peace and Order and Infrastructure, together with our ever-reliable barangay tanods — Dennis Baga, Hajji Habal, and Engie Gonzales.

Through teamwork and shared responsibility, we continue to ensure safer roads, unobstructed pathways, and a more organized environment for everyone.
