Palawan Knowledge Platform for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development The PCSD has now 32 partners from academic institutions, government agencies and civic society groups

A web-based information sharing of the PCSDS, Provincial Government of Palawan, City of Puerto Princesa, higher education institutions (Universities) in Palawan, national government agencies, and non-government organizations to facilitate, coordinate, maintain, improve and enhance the multi-agency sharing of biological and socio-economic data and information that will support the realization of t

he goals of the Strategic Environmental Plan for Palawan (RA 7611), the relevant national and local laws and policies, and the Philippines’ international commitments. The Palawan Knowledge Platform for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development aims to complement the management of the Environmentally Critical Areas Network in Palawan, leading towards sustained terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, biological communities and species, indigenous peoples, and the general improvement of human well-being in Palawan.
