TARLAC PPO ACTIVATES "IMPROVISED LIFE VEST" IN LINE WITH THE SOUTHWEST MONSOON

The Tarlac Police Provincial Office under the supervision of PCOL HARRY R LORENZO III, Provincial Director, activated the “Improvised Life Vest” in connection with Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The improvised life vests of Tarlac PPO were prepared and utilized as an additional safety measure for police personnel who are deployed in flood-affected and waterlogged areas, particularly those involved in search and rescue, evacuation, monitoring, and other disaster response operations.

This initiative highlights the readiness and resourcefulness of Tarlac PPO personnel in ensuring their safety while performing their duties and extending assistance to communities affected by flooding and other hazards brought about by the adverse weather conditions.

TARLAC PPO HOLDS TURNOVER OF OFFICE CEREMONY AT ANAO MPS

TARLAC CITY, PHILIPPINES – September 1, 2026, The Tarlac Police Provincial Office (TPPO), headed by PCOL Harry R Lorenzo III, Provincial Director, presided over the turnover ceremony between PMAJ Christine A. Camacho, the outgoing Acting Chief of Police, and PMAJ Jeffrey T. Orilla, Officer-in-Charge of the Anao Municipal Police Station (Anao MPS) held at the TPPO Conference Room, Camp General Francisco Macabulos, Tarlac City.

Also present during the activity were members of the Command Group, Staff Officers, and personnel from the Provincial Headquarters and Anao MPS.

3RD DAY OF CONTINUATION OF SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATION FOR FOUR MISSING PERSONS AT AGANA BRIDGE

TARLAC CITY – The Tarlac Police Provincial Office, in coordination with various disaster response and partner agencies, continued the search and rescue operation for the four (4) missing persons who reportedly fell into the Tarlac River following the incident at Agana Bridge, Brgy. Tibag, Tarlac City.

At about 8:15 AM on August 31, 2026, personnel from the Tarlac Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Laur Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) of Nueva Ecija, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Tarlac City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (TCDRRMO), Capas Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), Tarlac Police Provincial Office, Tarlac City Police Station, Tarlac FIL-CHI Volunteer, and the Philippine Air Force (PAF) conducted the 3rd Day Continuation of Search and Rescue Operation along the stretch of the Tarlac River.

The multi-agency search and rescue teams utilized available personnel, equipment, and resources in conducting systematic search operations along identified areas of the river in an effort to locate the four missing individuals.
