Kaisa sa pagdiriwang ng "Araw ng mga Ina" ay isinagawa ang aktibidad na pinamagatang Galing Inay: Livelihood Expo and Mother’s Day Tribute for OFW Returnees na ginanap sa Elevated Garden, Quezon Memorial Circle.

Layunin nito na ipagdiwang ang Araw ng mga Ina sa pamamagitan ng pagkilala sa mga ina bilang mga aktibong katuwang sa pag-unlad ng komunidad at paglago ng ekonomiya at paghikayat ng pagbibigay-kapangyarihan at patuloy na pag-unlad ng mga ina sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalawak ng ugnayan, pagkilala sa kanilang mga kasanayan, at pagpapalakas ng kanilang kabuhayan. Tampok dito ang mga produktong pangkabuhayan at negosyo ng ating mga OFW at kanilang mga pamilya upang masuportahan ang kanilang pagkakakitaan at mapalawak ang oportunidad sa pamilihan.

🌱✨ PLANTING EDUCATIONAL PROJECT 2ND SESSION: HANDS ON PLANTING 🌱✨

The second part of the Planting Educational Project has been completed, and in this session, participants focused on proper transplanting, watering techniques, and soil preparation. They will closely monitor and document the growth of their plants, observing the changes and progress throughout the weeks as they flourish in their new environment.

PRE-MIGRATION ORIENTATION SEMINAR (PMOS)

📍 Breakout Room 3, M.I.C.E. Building, Quezon City Hall

The Pre-Migration Orientation Seminar (PMOS) was successfully conducted. The seminar aimed to prepare aspiring migrants by providing essential information on migration processes, the realities and challenges of working abroad, and the importance of understanding available resources and support systems for migrant workers. Discussions also covered important topics such as healthcare services, legal rights, and financial literacy for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

Representatives from DMW-National Capital Region also participated to share their programs and services for OFWs and their families. In addition, Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF), SSS, and PhilHealth presented their benefits and services that may help and support our QCitizens.
