With deep sorrow, we share that Atty. Lily Freida Milla, Director of the International Affairs Service (IAS) of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), has peacefully joined our Creator today.

Atty. Milla was a devoted public servant whose work profoundly shaped the internationalization of Philippine higher education. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was known for her humility, warmth, and genuine care for the people she worked with. She touched many lives as a leader, mentor, and colleague, and her dedication to service will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues in the higher education community. As we grieve this great loss, we also give thanks for a life lived with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
