A Day of Care and Compassion 💛
Last December 28, 2025, the Saint Dominic Fire and Rescue Volunteers Inc. spent a simple yet meaningful day with the elderly residents of One Cainta Sunset Retreat. With hearts full of care and compassion, we shared this moment to bring comfort and joy, especially during the Christmas season when many are away from their families.
The day included basic health checks, a relaxing painting activity, shared meals, and a nutritious banana cupcake prepared with love. Donated items such as snacks, adult diapers, vitamins, medical supplies, wet wipes, and dental kits were also turned over to support the daily needs of the residents and facility staff.
We were grateful for the encouraging message from our President and Fire Chief, Denz Villareal, reminding us that service, unity, and compassion are at the heart of what we do, and that our elders are never forgotten in our mission to serve the community.
Our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors and volunteers:
Vouno Trade and Marketing Services Corporation, Otsuka-Solar Philippines Inc., Philippine Medical Supplies from Sir Dens Indus, Ma. Eloisa Villaraza, RND, Maria Fe Garcia, Kap. Sherilyn Corpuz, Mike Ong and the Saint Dominic Fire and Rescue Volunteers family.
Thank you for being part of this simple act of kindness. Small gestures, when done with love, can bring comfort, dignity, and hope. 🤍
