Everyday is a must to share good deeds to every one around us, sharing the blessings we have, sharing smile and positive vibes.

COVID-19 Pandemic has been around us for more than a year now. We have stayed at home to be safe . Luckily, we have them, the frontliners, who are spending their time saving lives and securing the safety of the community.

Everyone has sacrificed time and efforts just to keep us safe and in good condition in every way they could.Thanking our frontliners in our own way makes them feel that somehow, we appreciate every single effort that they gave, up to their very best.

We, the RESKYU, with the help of Mr. Salim Habib from a Muslim Community in Australia through Dean Macrina Morados, successfully distributed hundreds of Iftar pack during Ramadhan 2021. Food packs were delivered and prepared by Mubarak Halal Food of Caloocan City owned by the late Ustadz Ahmad Javier.
With the said event, together by giving Iftar packs to our frontliners, we also had a courtesy visit to the Salam Police Culiat Community, looking forward to establish mutual understanding and the active participation of our volunteer youth through various programs and activities.
Unity is an important concept in Islam for it teaches peace, equality, and many other positive traits among the ummah. Allah (swt) said in the Qur'an in chapter 49 that “The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islam). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy.” Prophet Muhammad (saw) also said, “The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, and fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever.” (Sahih Muslim).

Lastly, we thank all our frontliners who extended their hands to help us and the needy brothers and sisters. To Mr. Salim Habib, Dean Macrina Morados, Salam Police Culiat Community, Mubarak Halal Food Company, Youth Volunteers, we, from RESKYU, thank you all, and may Almighty Allah SWT keep us all safe and may He accept all our good deeds.

Beauty of Ramadhan amidst pandemic💚

Today, April 13, 2021 is the first day of Ramadhan, the month of fasting, month of forgiving and the month where giving charity and doing good deeds are multiplied in various times as Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "Every (good) deed of the son of Adam will be multiplied ten to seven hundred times in reward. Allah, the exalted, has said: 'With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me (My sake) and I will reward it..." -Al-Bukhari and Muslim

Last April 11, 2021, RESKYU Inc. in collaboration with Institute of Islamic Studies and Rescue Recon 1 Philippines successfully transported iftar packs in preparation for the month of Ramadhan to the Muslim individuals in Camp Karingal and Manila City Jail. Jazakumullahu Khayran to all of the sponsors and to those volunteers who helped in repacking and transporting the goods in the name of service to the ummah and service in the name of Ibadah.

May Allah accept all our prayers, good deeds and our pure intentions in serving the ummah during the holy month of Ramadhan. Ameen.

The RESKYU team in partnership with Rescue Recon 1 Philippines Inc., organized and conducted one of its treasured programs which is Interfaith to the RESKYU (ITTR) last February 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2020 at 3/F FCR Bldg. 561 Col. Bonny Serrano Ave. Brgy. Bayanihan, Quezon City.

There were 32 active participants coming from both Muslims and Non-Muslim brothers and sisters from different backgrounds who underwent the training. Some of them traveled from Mindanao just to witness and willingly to be trained for the interest of the spirit of volunteerism in the coming future.

The Interfaith to the RESKYU (ITTR) provides education and training to the participants that will equip them with Basic life-saving skills and to be qualified and consecrated rescuers in the prospective situations which they can volunteer during the calamities and disasters.

The Islamic view on life-savings rooted and anchored from the (Qur’anic principles as mentioned in Surah Al-Maaida 5:32) “that if anyone saved a life it would be as if he saved the life of the whole humanity”.

The participants were successfully trained and equipped with the following knowledge and skills: Patient Assessment, Basic Life Support, Splinting and Bandaging, Lifting and moving, Spine Board Management, Basic Military Commands, Semi-Military Training, Incident Command System, Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue, Calisthenics, High Angle Rappel, Vehicular Accident Patient Extrication, Fire Safety and How to Operate Fire Distinguisher, and Water Safety and Rescue.

During graduation day, the graduates were honored to have Mr. Abdulhakeem Alonto Lomondot, Division Chief at National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Bureau on Muslim Economic Affairs as their guest speaker and blessed to have attended and witnessed by Commander Peter P Negrido, Rescue Recon Commander in which according to him they are the “Game Changer”.
