PRC MIMAROPA and PICE Honor 32 New Civil Engineers in Palawan Oath-Taking Ceremony

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan — May 28, 2026 — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) and the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Palawan Chapter successfully hosted a face-to-face oath-taking ceremony for the region’s newest licensed civil engineers at the Holiday Suites, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Led by PRC MIMAROPA Regional Director Dr. Reynaldo D. Agcaoili and PICE President Engr. Jeffrey G. Malijan, the event marked a major professional milestone for 32 inductees who formally entered the engineering profession.

Dr. Agcaoili, who administered the oath, urged the new engineers to prioritize public welfare and national development through safe, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure. He also emphasized the critical importance of ethical practice, specifically reminding them to maintain absolute honesty and integrity when signing engineering plans.

"True success is not measured by titles or achievements alone," Dr. Agcaoili stated. "It is defined by the positive impact you bring to the lives of others and the integrity you uphold in practicing your craft."

HAPPENING NOW I PRC MIMAROPA conducts a 1-Day Mobile Service in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region IV-B through Calapan Service Center and in partnership with Mayor's Office, is conducting a one-day Mobile Service today, 30 May 2026, at the Municipal Lobby of the Executive - Legislative Building, Poblacion, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.

This initiative aims to bring essential PRC services closer to the professionals in the area. Available services being offered include:
• Application for various Licensure Examinations
• Initial Registration of successful examinees who have duly attended the oathtaking.
• Renewal Professional Identification Card (PIC)
• Duplication of PRC ID
• Certification and authentication of documents.

PRC Observes Eid’l Adha

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1264, s. 2026, declaring Wednesday, 27 May 2026, a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) celebrates with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they give reverence to this significant occasion marked by faith, sacrifice, and gratitude.

In observance of the holiday, PRC offices and service centers nationwide will suspend operations temporarily on 27 May 2026 (Wednesday).

Thus, scheduled appointments on the said date will be accommodated upon the resumption of operations on 28 May 2026 (Thursday).

PRC MIMAROPA Extends Mobile Services at the 46th PCAPI National Convention

Responding to the invitation from the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI), PRC MIMAROPA, through its Palawan Service Center, set up a mobile service booth at the Princesa Garden Island Resort, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan to coincide with PCAPI’s 46th National Annual Convention and General Assembly.

Through this collaborative effort, the PRC brings essential regulatory services directly to the convention's professional delegates.

The onsite services include:
Renewal of Professional Identification Cards (PICs),
Certification and Authentication of PRC documents, and
Assistance with various PRC related transactions and general inquiries.

Job Description
1. Receives calls and guests for the Regional Director;
2. Receives and logs personal and routed letters for the Regional Director and forwards the same for information;
3. Receives and organizes all papers for action of the Regional Director;
4. Schedules and keeps a record of the Regional Director’s appointments;
5. Types and encodes communication letters, periodic reports, and other documents for submission to PRC-CO, concerned government agencies, LGUs, and other private organizations;
6. Routes memoranda, resolutions/office orders, circulars, guidelines received to different divisions, units and satellite office for action; and
7. Performs other related functions.

Monthly Salary
• Salary Grade 9 or Php24,329.00/month
