๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | Representatives from the Barangay Bagumbayan Council install a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera at the school gate as part of the barangay's continuing efforts to further strengthen the safety and security of Bagumbayan Elementary School.

Another CCTV camera had earlier been installed outside the school gate to monitor activities around the school perimeter to help ensure the safety and security of learners, personnel, parents, and other school visitors.

The installation is an initiative of the Barangay Bagumbayan Council, headed by Hon. Kap. Alex V. Cruz.

Through Project WAIT (Waiting Area for Interactive Tutoring), officers and members of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) of Bagumbayan Elementary School are helping transform after-school waiting time into meaningful learning opportunities for learners who remain on campus while waiting to be fetched by their parents or guardians.

To ensure the learners' safety and well-being, SPTA volunteers stay with the learners after class dismissal and engage them in supervised literacy and numeracy activities. These include story reading, reading comprehension, oral reading practice, and simple mathematics exercises that reinforce essential learning skills.

Beyond providing academic support, the initiative ensures that learners are cared for, supervised, and productively engaged until they are safely picked up by their parents or guardians.

To support the initiative, the school administration established a reading nook at the designated waiting area of the school.

The initiative supports the school's ongoing efforts to ensure learner safety while promoting literacy and numeracy through the strong partnership of parents and the school community.

"Nakatutuwang ang simpleng paghihintay ng mga bata ng kanilang sundo ay maaaring maging pagkakataon para sa pagkatuto. Maraming salamat sa ating SPTA sa kanilang pakikiisa sa pag-aalaga at paghubog sa ating mga mag-aaral," said Mr. Randgren I. De La Cruz, school head.

SPTA and HRPTA Officers Oath-Taking Ceremony SY 2026-2027

Bagumbayan Elementary School successfully held the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected SPTA and HRPTA Officers for School Year 2026-2027, a significant event that strengthened the partnership between the school and the community.

The program commenced with the registration of participants, followed by the Opening Prayer led by Sir Jacob W. Tollangao, the singing of the Nationalistic Song led by Maโ€™am Eva E. Noto, and the DepEd Quality Policy presented by Maโ€™am Rizza May M. Miguel.

School Principal Randgren I. De la Cruz warmly welcomed the participants before Maโ€™am Maylen A. Bon presented the newly elected SPTA and HRPTA Officers. The induction of officers was solemnly administered by Kap. Alex V. Cruz, Chairman of Brgy. Bagumbayan and Guest of Honor, followed by the Ceremonial Turnover of the Key of Responsibility led by outgoing SPTA President Russell Anne M. Montiman.

The newly inducted SPTA President, Divine Grace C. Tindoc, delivered the Acceptance Message, expressing commitment to serve the school community. An inspirational message from Kap. Alex V. Cruz further encouraged the officers to lead with dedication and purpose.

The program also featured the presentation of the school's priority programs and PTA roles by Sir Randgren I. De la Cruz, followed by the Closing Remarks from Maโ€™am Zenevie Grace A. Bagasbas. The event was smoothly facilitated by the Master of Ceremony, Maโ€™am Cherrie E. Tan.

Bagumbayan Elementary School conducted its Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session 2 on July 15, 2026, at the SBM Room, centered on the theme โ€œCollaborative Practices for Improved Learning Outcomes and School Performance.โ€ The activity was participated in by all teachers of the school, reinforcing a shared commitment to professional collaboration.

The session featured discussions on dataโ€‘driven instruction using assessment results, Learner Information System (LIS) updates, Expanded Career Progression (ECP) Classroom Observation, Creation of Action Plan for Remediation Programs, and School Improvement Plan (SIP) Kumustahan.

The activity was hosted by the Grade 6 teachers and led by Ms. Zenevie Grace A. Bagasbas, Master Teacher I for Key Stage 2, who facilitated the exchange of strategies and best practices among participants.

The program formally opened with a message from School Principal Mr. Randgren I. De La Cruz, who underscored the importance of collaboration, continuous professional development, and evidenceโ€‘based instruction in improving school performance and learner outcomes.

The activity concluded with the awarding of Certificates of Participation to all teachers and Certificates of Recognition to the speakers, in appreciation of their valuable contributions to the successful implementation of the LAC session.
