🐼 P.A.N.D.A. 1 Family Alive Mission Inc., or 1 Fam, is a non-stock, non-profit social enterprise founded by a shared heart to lead every human being to belonging and becoming, through a path of holistic wellness grounded in God’s love.

1 Fam aims to address physical, psychological, and spiritual needs through trauma-informed and neurodivergent-friendly therapeutic, experiential, and learning-based initiatives. 🌱

These include, but are not limited to:

(1) services—programs, events, and activities such as talks, trainings, workshops, team-building, strategic planning, retreats, recollections, coaching, counseling, teaching, tutoring, games, storytelling, and performances—with topics available for sports and fitness, arts, music, culinary, mental health (e.g. child, developmental, and positive psychology), leadership, life skills, and values honing, among others;

(2) products—educational materials, food and beverage items, and other purpose-aligned merchandise; and

(3) spaces—venues, facilities, shelters, and homes consistent with the corporation’s advocacy. Every revenue from customers and clients contributes to 1 Fam’s outreach projects for poor, abandoned, neglected, discriminated, and abused (P.A.N.D.A.) beneficiaries, especially children, embracing them with an equal encounter of any of the mentioned initiatives—for free. Simultaneously, the organization includes its customers, clients, sponsors, donors, partners, and volunteers, known as happy heroes, in a system of awareness and advocacy for the little ones of society. 🐼💕

1 Fam started during the pandemic in 2020 as 1 Fam Seafood Restaurant, became 1 Fam Social Enterprise Inc. From its founding Bible verse, Romans 8:35-39, the name 1 Fam means one family, as it is also an acronym for its very name, 1 Family Alive Mission—believing that every life exists to experience the presence and power of unconditional love. ❤️

Halooo there! It's been a while since we uploaded photos of our conducted learning programs at ang daming ganap ganap sa buhay buhay hahay! Good problem! Thank You, Lord! 🙈🤗🎉 And step by step and little by little, we will strive to stamp here on our page the snapshots of our remarkable memories with the diverse people we have been meeting in our advocacy. Wohooo!

So here, some months ago, we had a PART 2 program with the BATCH 1 of PICTURE CITY LEADERS (see the familiar faces? hehe! ) with the program "LEAPing for Leading Well: A Part Two Holistic Wellness Leadership Training Program", where we led and facilitated coffee-shop-like workshops, colorful and energetic games, reflection moments, and engaging discussions regarding one of the most powerful tools of trauma-informed, mental-health-aiding, wellbeing-forming, and human-dignity-focused communication. 🥰💗

An African Proverb said, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." In the same way, when we leap, we make sure no one gets left behind. We LEAP together! 🌟💙💛🩷

𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘'𝗦 𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Ever tried to help someone but somehow made things worse? 💔
Sometimes we mean well but end up being mean. We are for the person, but not with the person.

Someone is struggling, yet instead of listening to understand, we give unsolicited advice—with pressure, judgment, or blame.
Instead of connecting, we start commanding.
Instead of supporting, we start controlling.
We try to solve too soon… and more damage is done. 🥺

We meant to help, but we hurried.
We tried to fix, but we forgot to feel.
In leadership, in teams, and in organizations, empathy is not “soft” — it is strategic. 🌟
People don’t grow because they’re pushed.
They grow because they feel safe, seen, and supported.

In team sports, business, and life:
➡️ Performance follows belonging.
➡️ Trust comes before transformation.
➡️ Connection comes before correction.
When someone is drowning emotionally, they don’t need a lecture — they need a lifeline.
Not commands. Not comparisons.
But presence.

Yet too often, our “control tendencies” show. 😔
We demand results instead of supporting the process.

We correct behavior without understanding the story behind it.
We value output more than humans.
We forget that people are not machines — they are nervous systems with history, stress, and meaning.

If people feel smaller, more ashamed, or more broken after interacting with us…
Are we really leading? 🤔
And we wonder why teams disengage.
Why athletes burn out.
Why employees go quiet.
Why people stop trying.
It’s not because they’re weak —
It’s because the environment stopped being safe.
Leadership is not about power.
It’s about presence.

Whether in organizations, sports teams, schools, families, or communities — each of us can choose to be the kind of leader who makes people feel:
✔️ Safe to try
✔️ Safe to fail
✔️ Safe to speak
✔️ Safe to grow
We are not perfect.

But may we never become the kind of leaders who harm the very people who need our guidance the most. 🔥

Instead of adding to the rampant traumas causing more unhealthy coping behaviors around, may we instead make people feel accepted and enough, not because of them proving their worth and doing more, but simply because of existing. 💗
