Heeding the Call to Serve| The Nurse Corps (NC), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) through the Office of The Chief Nurse (OTCN), AFP proudly welcomed 16 newly OTD and one (1) CAD NC officers during the Oath-Taking Ceremony held on June 11, 2026 at the General Trias Hall Bulwagang Valdez Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo Quezon City. The ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General Ma Dolores M Lim NC, The Chief Nurse (TCN), AFP.

The ceremony was attended by the Major Service Chief Nurses,namely, Colonel Allan V Gulapa NC (GSC), Chief Nurse, Philippine Army; Colonel Darlene D Flores NC (MNSA), Chief Nurse, Philippine Air Force; Colonel Arlene M Mandal NC (MNSA), Chief Nurse, Philippine Navy represented by Major Cheryll S Bantillo NC; Command Nurse, Medical Center, AFP, Colonel Erlyn P Espera NC (GSC), and Chief, Nursing Service Victoriano Luna General Hospital, Medical Center, AFP, Colonel Michelle M Ibuna NC (GSC). Also present during the event are the families, relatives, and close friends of the newly OTD/CAD NC officers who gathered to witness this significant milestone.

The program formally commenced with the welcome remarks delivered by Colonel Barbara Lollini C Conte NC (GSC), Deputy The Chief Nurse, AFP, who warmly greeted the participants and emphasized the importance of commitment, professionalism, and service as they begin their careers in the AFP. This was followed by the reading of the official orders and the administration of the oath by the Presiding Officer, signifying the officers' formal acceptance of their responsibilities and obligations as new regular members of the Nurse Corps, AFP.

In her inspirational message, Bgen Lim NC extended her heartfelt congratulations and officially welcomed the newly OTD and CAD officers to the NC organization. TCN encouraged them to sustain their enthusiasm, dedication, and motivation in serving the nation and the AFP through compassionate and competent nursing care. She likewise emphasized that the ceremony marked not only the culmination of their rigorous preparation and perseverance but also the beginning of a lifelong commitment to excellence, integrity, discipline, and selfless service.

As a highlight of the ceremony, TCN presented a congratulatory cake to the newly OTD and CAD officers as a symbolic gesture of recognition and celebration of their achievement. The cake presentation underscored the organization's warm welcome and unwavering support as they embark on their journey as regular members of the Nurse Corps, AFP.

The ceremony concluded with a photo opportunity and fellowship, celebrating the successful entry of the newest members of the Nurse Corps and reaffirming the organization's commitment to developing competent, resilient, and service-oriented military nurses.

Goodluck to the 57 scholars of Master in National Security Administration(MNSA) Regular Class 62! 🫡

One (1) NC Officer was qualified to join the course, Col Rozano M Goricho NC (GSC), the Chief, Education, Training and Research Division of Office of the Chief Nurse, AFP.

The 11-month MNSA program is centered on strategic studies, exploring political, diplomatic, security, and economic aspects at the strategic level, with graduates expected to assume senior leadership roles and contribute meaningfully to strategic policy formulation.

NEWLY-MINTED | The Nurse Corps, AFP proudly congratulates 31 NC Probationary Officers who completed the Technical and Administrative Service Military Orientation Course (TASMOC) Class 27-26 on 27 May 2026 at MSS Auditorium, Medical Center, AFP

The ceremony was graced by The Chief Chaplain, AFP, Bgen Daniel Tansip Chaplain Service as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, who congratulated the graduates and underscored the important roles of TAS Officers in support to the AFP mission.

The graduates rendered the traditional courtesy call to Col Barbara Lollini C Conte NC (GSC) Deputy, The Chief Nurse, AFP representing Bgen Ma Dolores M Lim NC. Col Conte NC expressed her proud comgratulations to all the graduates and imparted guidance to continue the path of excellence, honor and professionalism as they move forward to the next journey of their military career.
