| GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) Functionality Assessment Tool for NGAs

This GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) Functionality Assessment Tool is designed to ensure that national government agencies (NGAs) have a functional mechanism to mainstream the gender and development perspective in their policy making, planning, programming, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation processes. As a self-assessment tool, it provides GFPS members from NGAs the means to examine their performance and level of compliance based on the parameters set forth in the Magna Carta of Women and the PCW Memorandum Circular 2011-01.

Through PCW Memorandum Circular 2022-02 (https://pcw.gov.ph/memorandum-circular-no-2022-02-use-of-the-gender-focal-point-system-functionality-assessment-tool/), all NGAs are enjoined to use this tool in periodically assessing the level of functionality of their GFPS.

LOOK: The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁! Check the line up for this year's GAD webinars, now on its 3rd year! This series aims to provide an accessible, innovative and informative platform to increase awareness and knowledge of policymakers, public officers, and gender trainers on GAD mainstreaming. It also serves as PCW’s Technical Assistance (TA) strategy to address the need for direct TA to several requesting agencies.

The webinar is open to all 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 and other personnel of the Executive Departments, National Line Agencies, Central Offices of Bureaus, Attached Agencies, and Government-Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), Legislative, Judiciary Branches, Constitutional Bodies, and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Local Government Units (LGUs), and Local Water Districts (LWDs). Individuals from private organizations and civil society organizations may be allowed to join if there are available slots after the final registration of target participants.
