Sharing some snapshots during the RPWRSIS Monitoring and Assessment for Malinao IS and Talibon SRIS, in Bohol NIA Region 7.

NIA CO personnel from EWMS PPD-ED conducted evaluation of NIA R7's implementation activities under the program. The team along with R7's foresters, environmental analysts, sr. engineers, and manager visited the establishment and nursery sites last January 15-19, 2024.

As some areas were inaccessible by land vehicle or, takes a long time to travel, motorboat available in Talibon SRIS was used to validate established sites. Agroforestry species planted were rambutan, lanzones, cacao, coffee, etc. to help stabilize erosion sites that contribute siltation in NIA's irrigation systems while also helping surrounding communities in the process.

The assessment concluded through an exit meeting with NIA R7 EOD Manager, Engr. Orencio M. Apale; with Engr. Nelson L. Doliente, and Engr. Maria Fe A. Tahanlangit.
