As the culminating activity of the Women’s Month celebration and in observance of the 22nd Women with Disabilities Day, the CTA Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) spearheaded a Perimenopause Awareness Talk held on March 30, 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
The session was led by Dr. Rosemarie Perez-Tiburcio, Chief Administrative Officer of Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital, who shared valuable insights on perimenopause—its symptoms, hormonal changes, and practical ways to manage this important stage in a woman’s life. The talk provided a safe and informative space for participants to better understand their health and well-being.
Participants gained not only knowledge but also a deeper appreciation of the importance of support, awareness, and self-care during this phase. The interactive question-and-answer portion further enriched the session, allowing CTA participants to actively engage, clarify concerns, and gain additional insights directly from the speaker.
