Iloilo City โ The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) arrested six most wanted persons at the provincial and city levels during separate operations conducted within 24 hours on May 12, 2026.
At around 10:56 AM, the Top 10 Most Wanted Person (MWP) of Iloilo City for the crime of Estafa, identified as alias โJustine,โ voluntarily surrendered to the personnel of Iloilo City Police Office โ Police Station 2 in Brgy. Nabitasan, La Paz, Iloilo City, and was able to post bail on the same day.
Subsequently, alias โTotong,โ tagged as Iloilo Provinceโs Top 6 MWP for the crime of R**e by Carnal Knowledge, was arrested by the personnel of Carles MPS together with the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company at around 12:40 PM in Brgy. Bancal, Carles, Iloilo.
At around 3:30 PM, the Rank 9 Provincial MWP of Capiz for Lascivious Conduct under Section 5(B) of RA No. 7610, identified as alias โToto,โ voluntarily surrendered to the personnel of Roxas City Police Station at Pueblo de Panay, Brgy. Lawaan, Roxas City.
Meanwhile, in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, joint elements of Barotac Viejo MPS and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office โ Provincial Intelligence Unit arrested the Top 7 Provincial MWP of Iloilo for the crime of R**e with Homicide, identified as alias โMark,โ at about 4:37 PM in Brgy. Poblacion, Barotac Viejo.
In Capiz, personnel of Ivisan MPS arrested the provinceโs Top 8 MWP for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the RPC, as amended in relation to Section 5(B) of Republic Act 7610, identified as alias โEmil,โ at around 5:12 PM in Poblacion Norte, Ivisan, Capiz.
Further, personnel of the Jamindan MPS arrested Capiz Provinceโs Top 7 Most Wanted Person for R**e under Article 266-A(1), in relation to Article 266-B of the RPC, at around 5:18 PM in Brgy. Poblacion, Jamindan, Capiz.
โThese arrests speak volumes about the dedication and hard work of our personnel in tracking down fugitives. Likewise, the voluntary surrender of two wanted persons manifests the strong cooperation and trust of the community in the justice system of the PNP,โ said POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL JOSEFINO D LIGAN, Regional Director of PRO6.
โWe also urge all other wanted persons to voluntarily surrender and face the consequences of their actions. Rest assured that the PNP will continue to uphold due process with fairness and respect for human rights,โ he added.
All arrested suspects are now under police custody for proper disposition of their respective cases.
