MOST WANTED CHINESE NATIONAL NABBED; SUSPECT AN EX-POGO EMPLOYEE

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., arrested CALABARZON’s No. 1 Most Wanted Person, a 34-year-old Chinese national and former Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) employee, during a joint operation on July 17, 2026, in Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

The suspect, identified only by the alias “Xi,” was arrested through a joint operation by the Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region, the National Capital Region Police Office, Police Regional Office 4A, in coordination with the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) Task Force. She was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Robbery under Article 294, Paragraph 5 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended.

Following her arrest, alias “Xi” was properly documented and is now under the custody of the Dumaguete City Police Station pending her turnover to the issuing court and the completion of all required legal procedures.

“The arrest of most wanted fugitives shows that no one is above the law, regardless of nationality. It reflects our determination to ensure that those facing criminal charges are brought before the courts,” said PGEN Nartatez.

PNP SERVES WARRANTS, ARRESTS FOUR REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSONS IN R**E AND SEXUAL OFFENSE CASES

The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested four Regional Most Wanted Persons in separate warrant operations conducted by police units in CALABARZON, Central Luzon, and Cagayan Valley from July 19 to 20, 2026.

In CALABARZON, two Regional Most Wanted Persons were apprehended in separate operations in Biñan City, Laguna and Lian, Batangas. One suspect, an adult Filipino male known by the alias "Quirino,"is facing two counts of qualified r**e of a minor and three counts of sexual assault. Another adult Filipino male, known by the alias "Angelito," was arrested for a r**e case. Both were arrested by virtue of warrants issued by the courts.

In Cagayan Valley, police operatives arrested an adult Filipino male wanted for two counts of statutory r**e during a coordinated operation in Caloocan City. The suspect was later placed under police custody for turnover to the court of origin.

Meanwhile, in Central Luzon, an adult Filipino male using the alias "Berung" was arrested in Magalang, Pampanga for two counts of statutory acts of lasciviousness and sexual assault.

All operations were conducted through coordinated efforts of warrant personnel, intelligence units, and local police offices. The arrested individuals were informed of their constitutional rights and are now under the custody of the respective operating units for proper legal procedures and disposition.

The successful implementation of these warrants forms part of the PNP's continuing Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, strengthening the campaign against wanted persons through lawful and intelligence-driven police operations. These efforts also support the directive of President Ferdinand R. NO. 8 REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON ARRESTED IN LA UNION FOR QUALIFIED R**E OF A MINOR CASE

The Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to strengthen its efforts to ensure that individuals facing serious criminal charges are brought before the courts, following the arrest of a 34-year-old male wanted for two counts of Qualified R**e of a Minor during a warrant operation in San Gabriel, La Union on July 20.

The operation was carried out by joint police units implementing a lawful warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in San Fernando City, La Union. In line with existing Supreme Court rules, the operating team documented the implementation of the warrant using an authorized alternative recording device to promote transparency and accountability throughout the process.

The arrested individual underwent a medical examination before being placed under police custody for the appropriate legal procedures.

The operation reflects the continuing implementation of the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, by ensuring that court-issued warrants are served lawfully, professionally, and with full respect for due process. PNP ARRESTS FOUR IN SEPARATE ANTI-DRUG OPERATIONS; OVER ₱18.8-M WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS SEIZED NATIONWIDE

The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested four individuals in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted from 8:00 a.m. of July 21 to 8:00 a.m. of July 22, while also seizing and destroying illegal drugs with a combined estimated standard drug price of more than ₱18.8 million.

Among the major accomplishments were separate buy-bust operations in Western Visayas that led to the arrest of two high-value individuals and the confiscation of around 684 grams of suspected shabu worth over ₱4.6 million. In Central Visayas, another anti-drug operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of approximately 210 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱1.428 million.

Meanwhile, a ma*****na eradication operation in Northern Luzon led to the discovery, uprooting, and destruction of approximately 40,000 fully grown ma*****na plants and 40 kilograms of dried ma*****na, with an estimated standard drug price of ₱12.8 million. Follow-up investigations are underway to identify those behind the illegal plantation.

The nationwide operations reflect the PNP's continuing implementation of its Focused Agenda, particularly under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, through intelligence-driven and coordinated law enforcement efforts against illegal drugs. These initiatives likewise support the directive of President Ferdinand R. EX-BIFF BOMBER LINKED TO THE SAF 44 MAMASAPANO CLASH, CAPTURED

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the command of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., scored another major accomplishment in its intensified campaign against wanted persons following the capture of the No. 2 Most Wanted Person in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and the No. 1 Most Wanted Person in Maguindanao del Sur during a joint operation on July 21, 2026, in Barangay Tukanalipao, Mamasapano, Maguindanao del Sur.

The accused is an ex-Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) bomber who, based on police records, was implicated in the 2015 Mamasapano clash involving the SAF 44 and the March 28, 2026 ambush of PNP personnel in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of multiple Warrants of Arrest for multiple counts of murder, frustrated murder, attempted murder, robbery, and double murder with multiple frustrated murder, one of which carries a no bail recommendation.

Police records further indicate that the accused received explosives training from alias “Marwan” and another senior extremist operative. He was also identified as a senior member and adviser of the Panenekelan Criminal Gang with reported links to the Dawlah Islamiyah-Hassan Group and had claimed membership under the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) 128 Base Command.

The operation was jointly conducted by personnel of the Maguindanao del Sur Police Provincial Office, the Regional Intelligence Division of PRO BAR, the Mamasapano Municipal Police Station, the 34th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, and the 44th Special Action Company of the PNP Special Action Force. The accused was brought to the Maguindanao Provincial Hospital for medical examination before being placed under the custody of the Mamasapano Municipal Police Station pending turnover to the issuing court.

PGEN Nartatez commended the operating teams for the successful operation, emphasizing that the arrest underscores the PNP’s commitment to ensuring that fugitives accused of grave offenses are brought before the courts.

“The arrest of one of the region’s most wanted fugitives demonstrates the Philippine National Police’s unwavering resolve to pursue individuals facing serious criminal charges and ensure they are brought before the courts to answer for their actions,” PGEN Nartatez said.

PNP NABS 17 IN ONE-DAY ANTI-DRUG OPERATIONS; OVER ₱15.6-M IN ILLEGAL DRUGS RECOVERED

The Philippine National Police (PNP) sustained its nationwide campaign against illegal drugs after a series of coordinated operations conducted on July 22 until the early hours of July 23 resulted in the seizure of more than ₱15.6 million worth of suspected illegal drugs and the arrest of several drug suspects in different parts of the country.

The biggest accomplishment came from Police Regional Office 1, where a ma*****na eradication operation in the mountainous area of Sugpon, Ilocos Sur resulted in the discovery, uprooting, and on-site destruction of around 23,000 fully grown ma*****na plants with an estimated Standard Drug Price of ₱4.6 million.

The second-largest operation was carried out by Police Regional Office 4A, where a buy-bust operation in San Mateo, Rizal led to the arrest of 13 suspects and the confiscation of approximately 661 grams of suspected shabu with SDP of ₱4.49 million, together with buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.

In the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, a buy-bust operation in Balindong, Lanao del Sur resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old Filipino suspect and the confiscation of approximately 500 grams of suspected shabu with SDP of ₱3.4 million, along with marked money and other evidence.

Meanwhile, in Western Visayas, operatives from Police Regional Office 6 arrested a 38-year-old High Value Individual (HVI) during an early morning buy-bust operation in Iloilo City. Authorities recovered approximately 165 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of ₱1.122 million, together with buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.

Separate anti-drug operations in the National Capital Region also yielded positive results. In Valenzuela City, police arrested a 33-year-old HVI after confiscating approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu with SDP of ₱1.02 million. In another operation in Taguig City, another 33-year-old HVI was arrested following the recovery of approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu, likewise with SDP of ₱1.02 million.

All arrested suspects are now under police custody and will face appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, while the confiscated drug evidence has been turned over for proper examination and disposition in accordance with established procedures.

These accomplishments form part of the PNP's intensified anti-illegal drug campaign under its Focused Agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, reinforcing intelligence-driven and evidence-based law enforcement efforts in support of the peace and order priorities of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

INSURGENCY WEAKENS AS FOUR CTG MEMBERS YIELD, ARMS CACHE UNCOVERED IN LUZON AND VISAYAS

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., strengthened the government’s counterinsurgency campaign following the voluntary surrender of four Communist Terrorist Group (CTG)-affiliated individuals and the recovery of a CTG arms cache in separate joint operations conducted on July 17, 18, and 20, 2026 in Camarines Sur, Nueva Ecija, Samar, and Northern Samar.

The operations, carried out in partnership with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), further strengthened the government’s campaign to dismantle armed insurgency and encourage former rebels to return to the folds of the law.

On July 17, a former CTG leader voluntarily surrendered in Sipocot, Camarines Sur through the joint efforts of the 9th Special Action Battalion (9SAB), Special Action Force (SAF), Sipocot Municipal Police Station, Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, other PNP units, and the AFP. The former rebel, who previously served as Liaison of Komiteng Probinsya 1 under the Bicol Regional Party Committee from 1999 to 2002 and later as Vice Commanding Officer of the National Security Forces under the Communist Party of the Philippines from 2003 to 2024, turned over one improvised hand gr***de, two flash drives, and one memory card. He is now under police custody for documentation and evaluation for possible enrollment in the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

Three days later, on July 20, three more CTG-linked individuals voluntarily surrendered in Samar and Northern Samar through separate operations led by Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8), Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8, Regional Intelligence Unit 8, the Northern Samar Police Provincial Office, municipal police stations, and the Philippine Army. The surrenderers included a 75-year-old male Yunit Militia member, a former CTG member, and another male Yunit Militia member, who collectively turned over three caliber .38 revolvers and revolvers of unknown caliber, along with five rounds of live ammunition. All three are undergoing documentation and assessment for possible inclusion in the E-CLIP.

Meanwhile, on July 18, personnel of the 2nd Special Action Battalion (2SAB), SAF, together with the General Tinio Municipal Police Station, Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, other PNP units, and the AFP, recovered a CTG arms cache in Sitio Labuyo, Barangay Rio Chico, General Tinio, Nueva Ecija based on information provided by a former CTG member. Recovered during the operation were one caliber .45 pistol, one improvised 12-gauge pistol, three rounds of 40mm high-explosive ammunition, three improvised anti-personnel mines, one hand fragmentation gr***de, five meters of commercial detonating cord, two kilograms of ammonium nitrate/fuel oil (ANFO), three magazines, 80 rounds of assorted ammunition, one bandolier, and food supplies, dealing another significant setback to the remnants of the CTG’s operational capability.

These accomplishments reflect the PNP Focused Agenda, a strategic framework for organizational transformation aimed at making police service more responsive, capable, and mission-driven. Central to these efforts is the key priority of Enhanced Managing Police Operations, reinforcing intelligence-driven operations and inter-agency collaboration to sustain peace, protect communities, and weaken the operational capacity of terrorist groups.

“Every surrender represents another life redirected toward peace and another opportunity to strengthen the security of our communities. These results affirm that sustained law enforcement efforts, combined with government reintegration programs, remain effective in addressing insurgency,” PGEN Nartatez said.

ANTI-TERRORISM DRIVE INTENSIFIES AHEAD OF BARMM PARLIAMENTARY POLLS; NO. 9 MOST WANTED NABBED

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., continues to register significant gains in its campaign against terrorism and other grave crimes as it further strengthens security measures ahead of the first Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections on September 14, 2026.

Among its recent accomplishments was the July 7, 2026 arrest of Bangsamoro’s No. 9 Most Wanted Person, who is accused of involvement in an armed election-day attack during the 2022 National and Local Elections and is facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 11479, or the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.

Alias “Adin,” a Filipino male of legal age, was arrested in Barangay Kauran, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (CIDG RFU-BAR), together with the PNP Special Action Group, the Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Intelligence Team of the Regional Intelligence Unit 15, and the Police Regional Office–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. The accused was listed as the No. 9 Regional Most Wanted Person of the Police Regional Office–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and the No. 4 Provincial Most Wanted Person of the Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Police Office. He was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by a court in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte on September 16, 2022, with no bail recommended.

Investigation revealed that on May 9, 2022, during the National and Local Elections, alias “Adin” and four other armed individuals allegedly fired an automatic rifle in front of the polling precinct at Kaya-Kaya Elementary School in Barangay Kaya-Kaya, Datu Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao del Sur, causing fear and intimidation among voters and residents.

“The PNP remains unwavering in pursuing individuals charged with terrorism and other serious offenses. Every arrest sends a clear message that the law will reach those who threaten peace, security, and the democratic processes of our nation,” said PGEN Nartatez.

“Hindi kami titigil sa pagtugis sa mga taong gumagamit ng karahasan at pananakot laban sa ating mga kababayan. Mananagot sa batas ang sinumang lumalabag dito,” he added.

PNP TRACKS DOWN SIX MOST WANTED PERSONS IN 24-HOUR NATIONWIDE OPERATIONS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested six high-ranking wanted persons in separate operations conducted nationwide from 8:00 a.m. of July 22 to 8:00 a.m. of July 23, 2026, sustaining its intensified campaign against wanted persons through coordinated law enforcement efforts.

The highest-ranking arrest was made in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, where police operatives apprehended a 65-year-old Filipino male, the Regional No. 2 Most Wanted Person, who is facing four counts of statutory r**e. The arrest was carried out by personnel of the Bunawan Municipal Police Station of the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by the court with no bail recommended.

In Silang, Cavite, authorities arrested a Filipino of legal age, listed as the Regional No. 3 Most Wanted Person, for two counts of violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). The operation was jointly conducted by the CIDG Batangas Provincial Field Unit, the 82nd Special Action Company of the PNP Special Action Force, and the Silang Municipal Police Station. The warrants likewise carried no bail recommended.

Meanwhile, a 28-year-old Filipino male, tagged as the No. 5 Most Wanted Person of PRO 4A, was arrested in San Fernando City, La Union by joint elements of the CIDG La Union Provincial Field Unit, Intelligence Group Regional Intelligence Unit 1, and the San Fernando City Police Station. The suspect is facing two counts of r**e, with the court recommending no bail.

Another Regional No. 5 Most Wanted Person, a 27-year-old Filipino male, was arrested in Cebu City by personnel of Police Station 7 of the Cebu City Police Office. He is wanted for murder, and the warrant of arrest issued by the court likewise carried no bail recommended.

Also arrested was a 35-year-old Filipino male in Malapatan, Sarangani Province, listed as the Regional No. 7 Most Wanted Person, who is facing four counts of qualified r**e. The operation involved the Malapatan Municipal Police Station, Sarangani Police Provincial Office units, CIDG Regional Special Operations Team 12, and the Intelligence Group. The warrants issued by the court were likewise non-bailable.

In a separate operation in Cebu City, authorities apprehended a 71-year-old Filipino male, the Regional Top 10 Most Wanted Person, for two counts of sexual assault. The operation was conducted by the CIDG Cebu City Field Unit, Regional Intelligence Unit 7, and Police Station 8 of the Cebu City Police Office. The court recommended ₱200,000.00 bail for each case.

All arrests were carried out through valid warrants issued by the courts, and the arrested individuals are now under the custody of the respective operating units pending the appropriate legal proceedings.

The accomplishment reflects the PNP's continuing efforts to strengthen law enforcement and improve the service of warrants under the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly Enhanced Managing Police Operations, through stronger coordination among police units and sustained intelligence-driven operations. These initiatives support the peace and order programs of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and reinforce public safety nationwide.

PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., lauded the operating units for their coordinated efforts and stressed that the consistent implementation of warrants of arrest remains an important part of maintaining peace and order.

"Hindi natin pinipili ang oras o lugar pagdating sa pagpapatupad ng batas. Kapag may warrant na inilabas ang hukuman, tungkulin nating ipatupad ito nang maayos, may respeto sa karapatan ng lahat, at ayon sa due process. Sa bawat matagumpay na operasyon, mas lalo nating pinatitibay ang tiwala ng publiko sa ating sistema ng hustisya," PGen Nartatez said.
