DICTM SHOOT FOR A CAUSE 2026 🎯

The Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management (DICTM) successfully conducted the “DICTM Shoot for a Cause” on August 22–23, 2026, at the QCPD Firing Range, Camp PMGen Tomas B. Karingal, Sikatuna Village, Diliman, Quezon City.

Led by PBGEN MILO B. PAGTALUNAN, OIC, DICTM, the activity was held for the benefit of Malino Integrated Elementary School, San Fernando, Pampanga. 🤝

Beyond promoting responsible gun ownership and firearm safety, the activity served as an avenue to strengthen partnerships and collaboration, enhance stakeholder engagement, and foster trust and confidence between the PNP and its stakeholders.

Through initiatives such as this, the DICTM continues to support meaningful community engagement and contribute to programs that make a positive difference in the lives of others.

UNIFIED 911 CALL TRIGGERS PNP RESCUE OF MINOR IN PASAY
The Philippine National Police, under the leadership of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., responded to an emergency involving a male minor in Pasay City on August 16, 2026, after a call for assistance was received through the Unified 911 system, a nationwide emergency response service under the Department of the Interior and Local Government led by Secretary Juanito Victor C. Remulla Jr.
PNP personnel from Pasay City Police Station–Sub-Station 10 immediately responded to a residential high-rise building in Barangay 76, Zone 10, where the minor was found at a 12th-floor hallway window and allegedly attempting to jump amid a family problem.
Responding police officers secured the area and worked with the EOD-RDC-DMFB, Southern Police District, Bureau of Fire Protection-Pasay City, building security personnel, and the Barangay 76 Rescue Medical Team to safely bring the minor to a secure location.
The minor was successfully rescued and brought to the building’s Security Office for initial assessment, where he was found in stable condition. He was later turned over to Barangay 76 personnel in the presence of his relatives for appropriate assistance and disposition.
“Our priority in every emergency is to protect life and create a safe path toward help. This response shows why immediate police action matters when every second counts,” PGEN Nartatez said.
“Ang mga kabataan ay nangangailangan ng pang-unawa at gabay sa harap ng mga problema. Bilang mga pulis, tungkulin nating makinig at kumilos agad upang maiwasan ang kapahamakan,” he added.
The successful rescue reflects the PNP Focused Agenda’s Enhanced Managing Police Operations priority, underscoring the importance of timely action and effective emergency response in protecting lives.
The PNP’s prompt intervention, together with the support of partner agencies and the local community, prevented further harm and ensured that the minor was placed under proper care.
As the PNP strengthens its commitment to protecting every life and responding to those in need under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., it assures the public of “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.”

MOST WANTED CHINESE NATIONAL NABBED; SUSPECT AN EX-POGO EMPLOYEE

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., arrested CALABARZON’s No. 1 Most Wanted Person, a 34-year-old Chinese national and former Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) employee, during a joint operation on July 17, 2026, in Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

The suspect, identified only by the alias “Xi,” was arrested through a joint operation by the Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region, the National Capital Region Police Office, Police Regional Office 4A, in coordination with the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) Task Force. She was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Robbery under Article 294, Paragraph 5 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended.

Following her arrest, alias “Xi” was properly documented and is now under the custody of the Dumaguete City Police Station pending her turnover to the issuing court and the completion of all required legal procedures.

“The arrest of most wanted fugitives shows that no one is above the law, regardless of nationality. It reflects our determination to ensure that those facing criminal charges are brought before the courts,” said PGEN Nartatez.

“Patuloy nating tutugisin ang mga wanted na indibidwal upang mapanagot sila sa kanilang mga ginawa at mapanatiling ligtas ang ating mga komunidad,” he added.

The accomplishment reflects the PNP Focused Agenda, a framework for organizational transformation designed to make police service more responsive and accountable to the public. Among its key priorities, Enhanced Managing Police Operations reinforces sustained intelligence and law enforcement efforts against wanted persons and other criminal offenders.

PNP SERVES WARRANTS, ARRESTS FOUR REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSONS IN R**E AND SEXUAL OFFENSE CASES

The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested four Regional Most Wanted Persons in separate warrant operations conducted by police units in CALABARZON, Central Luzon, and Cagayan Valley from July 19 to 20, 2026.

In CALABARZON, two Regional Most Wanted Persons were apprehended in separate operations in Biñan City, Laguna and Lian, Batangas. One suspect, an adult Filipino male known by the alias "Quirino,"is facing two counts of qualified r**e of a minor and three counts of sexual assault. Another adult Filipino male, known by the alias "Angelito," was arrested for a r**e case. Both were arrested by virtue of warrants issued by the courts.

In Cagayan Valley, police operatives arrested an adult Filipino male wanted for two counts of statutory r**e during a coordinated operation in Caloocan City. The suspect was later placed under police custody for turnover to the court of origin.

Meanwhile, in Central Luzon, an adult Filipino male using the alias "Berung" was arrested in Magalang, Pampanga for two counts of statutory acts of lasciviousness and sexual assault.

All operations were conducted through coordinated efforts of warrant personnel, intelligence units, and local police offices. The arrested individuals were informed of their constitutional rights and are now under the custody of the respective operating units for proper legal procedures and disposition.

The successful implementation of these warrants forms part of the PNP's continuing Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, strengthening the campaign against wanted persons through lawful and intelligence-driven police operations. These efforts also support the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to sustain peace and order while ensuring that every police action remains anchored on due process and respect for the rule of law.

PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for their coordinated efforts and reminded all personnel to remain steadfast in carrying out police operations within the bounds of the law.

"Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang paghahanap sa mga taong may kinakaharap na kaso upang maiharap sila sa tamang proseso ng hustisya. Ang mahalaga ay maayos, legal, at may paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat isa ang ating operasyon. Hindi tayo titigil sa pagpapatupad ng batas habang nananatiling propesyonal at makatao ang ating serbisyo," PGen Nartatez said.

He also encouraged the public to continue supporting police efforts by providing timely and accurate information that may help authorities locate other wanted persons.

"Malaking tulong ang pakikipagtulungan ng ating mga kababayan. Sa sama-samang pagkilos ng komunidad at kapulisan, mas napapalakas natin ang pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kaligtasan sa ating mga pamayanan," he added.

NO. 8 REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON ARRESTED IN LA UNION FOR QUALIFIED R**E OF A MINOR CASE

The Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to strengthen its efforts to ensure that individuals facing serious criminal charges are brought before the courts, following the arrest of a 34-year-old male wanted for two counts of Qualified R**e of a Minor during a warrant operation in San Gabriel, La Union on July 20.

The operation was carried out by joint police units implementing a lawful warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in San Fernando City, La Union. In line with existing Supreme Court rules, the operating team documented the implementation of the warrant using an authorized alternative recording device to promote transparency and accountability throughout the process.

The arrested individual underwent a medical examination before being placed under police custody for the appropriate legal procedures.

The operation reflects the continuing implementation of the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, by ensuring that court-issued warrants are served lawfully, professionally, and with full respect for due process. It also supports the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in strengthening public safety and upholding justice, especially in cases involving children and other vulnerable members of society.

PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating personnel for the successful implementation of the warrant.

"Hindi natin hinahayaan na manatiling nakatakas sa pananagutan ang sinumang may kinahaharap na kaso sa batas. Ang matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng warrant na ito ay patunay ng maayos na koordinasyon at propesyonalismo ng ating mga pulis. Kasabay nito, nananatili tayong nakatuon sa paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat tao at sa tamang proseso ng batas."

He likewise reminded the public that the PNP remains committed to working closely with communities in encouraging the reporting of crimes and supporting victims through the proper legal process.
