CTC STRENGTHENS IMPACT EVALUATION SKILLS OF SELECT NGA TECHNICAL STAFF
The Customized Training Course (CTC) on Impact Evaluation for the Technical Staff of Select National Government Agencies (NGAs) was conducted by the PSRTI on May 25-29, 2026, at the PSRTI Conference Room. The five-day training gathered 37 representatives from selected NGAs and was facilitated by Resource Person Ms. Melba V. Tutor.

It strengthened participants’ understanding of impact evaluation within the framework of evidence-based planning and decision-making, covering core concepts such as causal inference, theory of change, counterfactuals, evaluation designs, data requirements, ethical considerations, and the communication of evaluation results for policy and program improvement.
PSRTI Executive Director III Josefina V. Almeda, PhD delivered the opening and closing remarks. The Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) Assistant Secretary of the Investment and Programming Group Roderick M.
