𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

From discipline to global engagement, the AFP’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) continues to expand its horizons through meaningful international exposure.

The ROTC Cultural Understanding and Leadership Program (CULP), held from April 23–27, 2026, in Waimanalo, Hawaii, USA, stands as a testament to the growing collaboration among nations in shaping future leaders. This bilateral activity is carried out in partnership with the Hawaii National Guard under the State Partnership Program (SPP), alongside the United States Army Cadet Command, and the Hawaii Army National Guard.

Through this engagement, Filipino ROTC cadets were immersed in a dynamic environment that fostered leadership development, cross-cultural understanding, and professional growth with their international counterparts. Activities included academic exchanges, leadership exercises, cultural immersion sessions, and a Field Training Exercise (FTX) that provided hands-on application of military skills in a realistic training setting—further enhancing teamwork, decision-making, and operational readiness.

The ROTC CULP is more than a training activity—it is a strategic initiative that strengthens bilateral ties, enhances interoperability, and promotes mutual understanding between partner nations. It reinforces the shared commitment to developing competent, values-driven leaders capable of operating in an increasingly complex and interconnected security landscape.

As these cadets return home, they bring with them enriched knowledge, strengthened competencies, and a renewed commitment to serve the nation with excellence, integrity, and a deeper appreciation of global partnership.

RESERVISTS IN ACTION 🇵🇭🤝🇺🇸

TAS reservists of AFPRESCOM supported the Balikatan 41-26 Civil-Military Medical and Dental Mission in Casiguran, Aurora, delivering healthcare services to local communities as part of the Humanitarian and Civic Assistance activities.
