East Bay Water Supply System Existing Transmission Lines Flushing & Disinfection Activity

September 01– 05, 2026

Manila Water will conduct flushing and disinfection activity from September 01 to 05, 2026 of our existing East Bay Water Supply System Transmission Lines.

Pipeline flushing is a standard procedure that removes sediments and residual materials from newly installed pipelines to help ensure clean, safe, and reliable water service before the facility becomes fully operational.

Discharge Locations and Flushing Schedule:
1. Along National Rd near Bayugo Elem School (Creek), Brgy. Bayugo Jala-Jala – September 1-2, 2026/ 8 pm to 4 am

2. Along National Rd Brgy. Punta near Palay Palay Arko (Creek), Jala-Jala – September 2-3, 2026/ 8 pm to 4 am

3. Along National Rd. near Pagkalinawan Rd. Brgy. Palaypalay (Creek), Jala-Jala – September 3-4, 2026/ 8 pm to 8 pm

4. Along Mabitac Rd. fronting Eastbay Treatment Plant Brgy. Kabulusan, Pakil Laguna – September 4-5, 2026/ 8 pm to 11 pm

The activity supports Manila Water's efforts to strengthen water security and maintain a reliable water supply, especially during periods of increased demand and El Niño conditions. It will be undertaken in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

As of July, the company's network spans 5,738.06 kilometers of pipelines, supporting the delivery of safe and reliable water to millions of customers in its service area.
