GUZMAN, Director, PSPG, in partnership with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), U.S. Embassy Manila, conducted the Advanced Room Entry and Clearing Seminar to further enhance the professionalism, vigilance, and operational readiness of its personnel.

PNP STATEMENT

The Philippine National Police (PNP), through its Health Service, provides the following update on the condition of former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan.

Mr. Bonoan has been under the care of the PNP General Hospital since the evening of June 1, 2026, for medical evaluation and appropriate management.

Based on the latest assessment of the PNP Health Service, he is currently conscious, coherent, and oriented. He has no complaints of headache, dizziness, or any immediate distress at this time. He remains under close observation by the hospital’s medical team and continues to receive appropriate medical attention. Necessary diagnostic procedures are being undertaken to further guide his treatment and ensure comprehensive care.

The PNP likewise confirms that security measures and custodial protocols remain in place throughout his confinement at the hospital.

Further updates will be issued as developments warrant.

With profound gratitude and respect, the Police Security and Protection Group, under the visionary leadership of PBGEN BENIGNO L GUZMAN, Director, PSPG, recognized five (5) retiring personnel during the Salamat Kapatid Program for May 2026 held at the Headquarters PSPG, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

Personnel of the Police Security and Protection Group, together with PNP Crame-Based Units, joined the Culmination of the Flores de Mayo on May 28, 2026, with the theme: “Maria, Reyna ng Mayo, Gabay Namin sa Pananampalataya at Pag-asa.”

Officiated by REV. MSGR. GILBERT O. SONES, Mass Presider, the activity highlighted the importance of faith and spiritual growth among police personnel.
