The UP Department of Journalism extended the submission deadline for the Philippine Journalism Research Conference (PJRC) 2026 to 31 August 2026, giving undergraduate students more time to submit works in journalism research, investigative reporting, documentary, photo essay, and short-form video explainer categories.

The UP Department of Journalism has extended the submission deadline for the Philippine Journalism Research Conference (PJRC) 2026. Undergraduate students now have until 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, to submit their works in the following categories:

UP NCPAG-CLCD, in partnership with the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute (PERPI), conducted a five-day Research Writing for Evidence-based Energy Policy Formulation training on 10–14 August 2026, equipping 12 PERPI staff with research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and policy writing skills to support evidence-based energy policy development.
