The 33rd Mechanized Infantry Company, 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Armor Division, Philippine Army headed by CPT CARINA JOY B BACUS (ARM) PA, proudly participated in the 3-day Reserve Force Joint Training Exercises (RFJTEX) CY 2026 from 19-21 June 2026, at the Headquarters National Capital Region Command, AFP, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The RFJTEX is a major Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) initiative aimed at enhancing the operational readiness, interoperability and integration of Reserve Force units with the Regular Force under the AFP Total Force Concept. The exercise serves as a platform to strengthen the capabilities of reservists in addressing conflicts, crises, and national emergencies while supporting the AFP Campaign Plan “Tatag Kapuluan”.

Participating units underwent a series of activities such as lecture discussions, capability demonstrations and practical exercises designed to improve individual and collective competencies in both Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) Operations and warfighting capabilities.

Through continuous training and collaboration with partner units, the company remains committed to developing a capable and responsive force ready to support the NCRCOM, AFP in safeguarding the nation and serving the Filipino people.

On the 128th Philippine Independence Day, the Armor Division joins the nation in honoring the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the men and women who served our freedom.

The liberty we enjoy today was earned through the determination and selfless service of generations who chose to stand for the Filipino people. Inspired by their example, the soldiers of the Armor Division remain steadfast in their commitment to save the country with honor, professionalism, and dedication.

As part of the Philippine Army, we continue to uphold our duty to protect our sovereignty and continue to be the guardians of peace and stability that this nation deserves.

IN PHOTOS | 33RD MECHANIZED INFANTRY (HUNTER) COMPANY SEMI-ANNUAL PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT)

The men and women of the 33rd Mechanized “Hunter” Company, under the leadership of CPT CARINA JOY B BACUS (ARM) PA, successfully completed the Semi-Annual Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand, CGEA, Quezon City.

The activity was supervised by trained facilitators from the Command Special Service Office (CSSO) AFP and medical personnel from CGEASH, AFP, to ensure the safety of all personnel throughout the event.

The regular conduct of PFT aims to assess endurance, strength, and flexibility among all military personnel. With physical wellness sustained, the company ensures that every member remains combat ready and mission-capable.

On 21 May 2026, a Spiritual Enlightenment Program was conducted for all personnel of the 33rd Mechanized Infantry (Hunter) Company. The activity was led by Rev. Fernando M. Tan, Deacon, Military Ordinariate of the Philippines, from St. Ignatius of Loyola Cathedral, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

A mindset of continuous self-improvement was instilled in all unit personnel through the conduct of the program. It enabled them to develop a strong moral character, helping them serve with integrity and compassion, while fostering spiritual growth as soldiers.

Throughout the activity, the true definition of freedom among soldiers was also discussed, emphasizing that genuine freedom is guided by faith, responsibility, and obedience to moral principles.

This activity proved beneficial for the unit, as it enhanced each personnel’s spiritual being and values to be practiced daily as part of their mission in life.

IN PHOTOS | PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY PROGRAM FOR THE 33RD MECHANIZED INFANTRY (HUNTER) COMPANY

On 26 May 2026, a Preventive Dentistry Program was conducted at the Headquarters, 33rd Mechanized Infantry (Hunter) Company under the leadership of CPT CARINA JOY B BACUS (ARM) PA. The activity was successfully carried out by the Camp O'Donnel Dental Dispensary, CODMTF, IMCOM, PA headed by CPT MICHAEL E ABARQUEZ (DS) PA.

Through the program, personnel received oral prophylaxis, tooth restoration and oral check-ups promoting better gum health and reducing the risk of common dental problems. Participants were also guided on proper oral care and dental hygiene kits were provided reinforcing good oral health practices.

This initiative emphasizes the unit's commitment to readiness, discipline, and professionalism by ensuring that every personnel is physically fit and oral health concerns are addressed early to support overall mission capability.
