Why did PINK and RED join forces to oust GREEN?
Ever since the color Pink became associated with politics, they had always been in the Opposition—until a moment arrived when their position shifted. Why? Out of self-interest.
The political landscape has taken a volatile turn; former allies have splintered, while former adversaries have joined forces. How did this happen? It is common knowledge that the "Red" and "Green" factions were once true allies. In fact, their union posed a threat to other political camps due to the sheer scale and breadth of the alliance they had forged. However, a time came when the Green and Red factions fell out of alignment due to conflicting principles.
Because Red held the top position—they set the pace—and Green opposed Red, they adopted an oppositional stance. What about Pink? Pink declared itself Independent. For how long? Only for a short time. And why? Because they sided with Red. To what end? For their own benefit. And what was that?
Since the "Red" faction holds the reins of power—occupying the highest office and controlling the vast government machinery—they wield the authority. Where does the "Pink" faction fit into this? Historically, the Pinks were the Opposition to the "Greens" back when the Greens held the country's highest office, yet the Pinks never managed to gain a real foothold. Even now that the Reds have taken the top spot, the Pinks remain on the sidelines. With the alliance between the Reds and Greens dissolved, the Pinks have positioned themselves to reap the greatest benefit by aligning with the current power brokers: the Reds.
Pink aligned with Red, driven by the belief and desire that their collaboration could oust Green from the top spot—that was the goal.
Green, eager to reclaim a high-ranking position, had declared its intention to fight for it. How did Red react? There were various reactions, but the reality was that they had no match for Green, as everyone knew Green held greater sway with the masses.
Pink had potential candidates: one who was winnable but unwilling, and another who was eager but appeared destined to lose. They wanted to join forces—for Red to endorse Pink’s candidate to challenge Green. Yet, there were apprehensions; they knew that even a united front might not guarantee victory, so they are now working together in a concerted effort to finally oust Green.
Will they succeed? And if they do, what will be the outcome of this Red-Pink alliance?
