PDO, AFP Conducts CSP Operations Lectures for CMOG-PN Personnel
FORT ANDRES BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Peace and Development Office (AFPPDO), through its Community Support Program (CSP) Division, conducted lectures on Community Support Program (CSP) Operations, the Integrated Territorial Defense System (ITDS), the Barangay Development Program (BDP), and Insurgency-Free and Security Operations (IFSO) for officers and enlisted personnel of the Civil Military Operations Group–Philippine Navy (CMOG-PN) on 08 July 2026 at the Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown (MBRB), Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The activity was led by LTC EDWARD P DOMPOL PA, Chief of the CSP Division, with MSg Marlon P Abagon PA serving as one of the resource speakers. The lectures enhanced participants' knowledge of community support and stability operations in support of the AFP's Internal Security Operations and the government's Whole-of-Nation Approach. Discussions covered the strategic role of CSP, ITDS, BDP, and IFSO in promoting peace, strengthening community resilience, and addressing the root causes of insurgency. The sessions also highlighted stakeholder engagement, interagency collaboration, strategic communication, and best practices in community-focused operations.
As the Philippine Navy's primary unit for Psychological Operations, Civil Affairs, and Public Affairs, CMOG-PN plays a key role in fostering partnerships with government agencies, local government units, partner organizations, and communities. Through this capability enhancement activity, AFPPDO reaffirmed its commitment to developing competent Civil-Military Operations personnel capable of advancing peace, security, and sustainable development initiatives nationwide.
