Personnel of the Marikina City Jail – Female Dormitory, led by JSINSP ROSEBELLE P VASQUEZ (ATTY.), participated in the Firearm Safety Awareness and Proficiency Training at Armscor Marikina, together with JCSUPT BABY NOEL P MONTALVO, TLPE. Regional Director of the Jail Bureau. The activity strengthened responsible firearm handling, operational readiness, and professional competence in the performance of duty.

In line with heightened security measures for the State of the Nation Address (SONA), the BJMPRO-NCR conducted a Red Alert Inspection on July 27, 2026, led by JCSUPT BABY NOEL P MONTALVO, TLPE, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, to assess the operational readiness and security preparedness of jail units.

The inspection reaffirmed the organization's commitment to maintaining maximum vigilance, strict adherence to security protocols, and operational readiness to ensure public safety throughout the SONA.
