Municipality of Quirino This is the Official page of the Municipality of Quirino, Isabela. It may be an interior town but it has so much to offer. Lucia, San Mateo, Sto.

Quirino is a fourth class municipality in the province of Isabela composed of 21 barangays. Looking back in history, the municipalityโ€™s 16 original barrios were carved out from the municipalities of ILAGAN (Sta. Domingo, Santiago, Dolores, Manaoag, Vintar and San Jose), GAMU (San Juan, Binarzang, Luna, Suerte, Sinait, Cabaruan and Sta. Catalina) and ROXAS (Camaal). Then, another five barrios (Riza

l, Villa Bulusan, Villa Miguel, San Isidro and San Vicente) were created to form the town. At the end of World War II, Congressman Melanio T. Singson pushed the creation of Quirino into a municipality. He authored the Singson Bill otherwise known as Republic Act No. 004901 that was signed into law by President Ferdinand E. Marcos proclaiming Quirino as a municipality on June 17, 1967. The present leader, MAYOR EDWARD D. JUAN, is guided by a strong motivation to lead this municipality towards progress and development based on the townโ€™s main assets, the people, the vast fertile lands and its ideal location. Today, Quirino is a municipality that is progressive, vibrant and full of promise. And it continues to move forward to an exciting and prosperous future filled with endless possibilities.
