📍 TODAY’S HAPPENINGS | OCTOBER 16, 2026

The Provincial IPMR, Hon. Jestoni D. Nangitoy, together with all Municipal Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representatives (IPMRs) of Quirino, visited our Ethnographic Commissioner, Engr. Purisimo L. Tiam, at PLTC, Bascaran.

The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination, share concerns, and discuss matters concerning the rights, representation, and welfare of our Indigenous Peoples.

Together, we continue to uphold unity, cooperation, and meaningful Indigenous Peoples’ participation in local governance. 🤝🌿

A DAY OF GRATITUDE, FAITH, AND UNITY ❤️🙏

My heart is filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the guest speaker during the 1st Indigenous Peoples Sunday Celebration at Saint Mark the Evangelist on October 11, 2026.

I, Hon. Jestoni D. Nangitoy, Provincial Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) of Quirino Province, it is truly humbly to be part of this meaningful celebration of our faith, culture, traditions, and identity as Indigenous Peoples.

Standing before our brothers and sisters in the community reminds me that public service is not just about the position we hold, but about the people we serve, the culture we preserve, and the future we build together. Our traditions are precious gifts from our ancestors, and it is our shared responsibility to keep them alive and pass them on to the next generation with pride and love.

My sincerest thanks to the church, the organizers, our Indigenous Peoples community, and everyone who warmly welcomed me and made this celebration memorable.

Your presence, support, and commitment to our heritage inspire me to continue serving with a humble heart and a genuine desire to uplift our people.

May we always walk together in faith, strengthen the bonds that unite us, and continue working for peace, understanding, and progress in our beloved Province of Quirino.

Agkaykaysa tayo! Together, let us uphold our culture, honor our roots, and build a future where every Indigenous person is valued, respected, and empowered.

The Office of the Provincial Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) joined the final wake of our beloved late Governor Dakila Carlo “Dax” E. Cua at Manila Memorial Park, Parañaque.

With heavy hearts, we honor a life devoted to serving the people of Quirino. His compassion, humility, and unwavering dedication touched countless lives, and his kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone he served.

From your IPMR Family, thank you for your selfless service, Governor Dax. We will forever cherish your memory and the legacy you leave behind.
