We strongly condemns the recent shooting incident in Cotabato City involving students. We extend our prayers and deepest sympathies to the families and communities affected by this tragic event.

Schools must always remain safe spaces where children and young people can learn, grow, and pursue their dreams free from fear and violence.
We call on our local government, schools authorities, and communities to continue strengthening safety and security measures in and around educational institutions.

As advocates of peacebuilding and security, we believe that protecting our youth is a shared responsibility. Let us work together to promote peace, safety, and a culture of care for every child and student.

Kasama natin si Mayor Ronnie Evangelista na nagbahagi ng isang makabuluhan at inspirasyong mensahe para sa ating kabataan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng Gender Sensitivity Training (GST).

Binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng pag-unawa, paggalang, at pagkakapantay-pantay sa bawat isaโ€”mga pagpapahalagang mahalaga sa paghubog ng isang mas inklusibo, ligtas, at gender-responsive na komunidad.

HAPPENING NOW | Empowering Youth Leaders Through Gender Sensitivity Training and Gender-Responsive Community Leadership

The Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), together with our dedicated Youth Volunteers, stands in support of the Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) spearheaded by the Gender and Development (GAD) Office and the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO).

This initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of young leaders to understand gender perspectives, promote inclusivity and equality, and become more responsive to the diverse needs of our communities.

Through meaningful learning and active participation, we continue to empower the youth to become gender-responsive, inclusive, and responsible community leaders who can contribute to building a safer, fairer, and more equitable community for all.

Patuloy na nakikiisa ang Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) sa adhikain ng Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) at Montalban Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department (MTCAD) sa pangunguna nina Ms. Mariella Cunanan at Ms. Jomelyn Abuan, para sa pagpapaigting ng kaalaman at kakayahan ng kabataang Montalbeรฑo sa larangan ng kultura at turismo.

Sa ikalawang araw ng pagsasanay, higit nating binibigyang-halaga ang ugnayan ng kultura, kasaysayan, at turismo, at kung paano magiging katuwang ang kabataan sa pangangalaga, pagpapakilala, at pagpapayabong ng ating lokal na identidad at mga pamanang pangkultura.

Kasama rin natin ang ating mga Youth Volunteers, na patuloy na nakikilahok at hinahasa ang kanilang kaalaman at kasanayan upang maging mas handa sa paglilingkod at pakikibahagi sa mga programang pangkultura at pangturismo ng ating bayan. ๐Ÿ’™

Sapagkat ang kabataan ay hindi lamang tagapagmana ng ating kulturaโ€”sila rin ang magiging gabay at tagapangalaga nito para sa susunod na henerasyon.
