ROMBLON PPO CONDUCTS CLEAN-UP DRIVE AND DE-CLOGGING ACTIVITY IN SUPPORT OF PROJECT T.R.E.E.
ROMBLON, Philippines β Demonstrating its commitment to environmental protection and community welfare, the Romblon Police Provincial Office (Romblon PPO) conducted a Clean-Up Drive and De-clogging Activity within and around the RPPO premises on August 4, 2026 as part of the implementation of PROJECT T.R.E.E. (Take Responsibility for the Enhancement of the Environment).
The activity was spearheaded by PLTCOL LEDILYN Y AMBONAN, Chief of the Police Community Affairs and Development Unit (PCADU), in line with the environmental advocacy of the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA. Police personnel worked hand in hand in clearing clogged drainage canals, collecting waste materials, and cleaning the surrounding areas to help prevent flooding and promote a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment, especially during the rainy season.
The initiative underscores the Philippine National Police's commitment to environmental stewardship through PROJECT T.R.E.E., a program that encourages every police officer to take an active role in protecting and preserving the environment. Beyond tree planting activities, the project also promotes cleanliness, proper waste management, and disaster risk reduction through community-oriented environmental programs.
The Romblon PPO remains steadfast in supporting the Philippine National Police's environmental programs, reaffirming its commitment to the vision of 'Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman,' while strengthening partnerships toward a sustainable and disaster-resilient community.
