MEASLES-RUBELLA SUPPLEMENTAL IMMUNIZATION ACTIVITY (MR-SIA) 2026

The Rural Health Unit of Ronda invites all parents and guardians to participate in the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026.

👶 Who should be vaccinated?
𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝟔–𝟓𝟗 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝, regardless of their previous measles vaccination status.

📅 Campaign Period: 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟎–𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

💉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐑 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄, 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞. Bring your child on your barangay's scheduled date and, if available, their immunization card.

Together, let's protect our children and keep our community free from measles and rubella.

CAMPAIGN FOR MEASLES-RUBELLA Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA 2026)
AUGUST 2026💉🧒

MR-SIA 2026 stands for Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity, a one-stop vaccination campaign by the Department of Health (DOH) to protect children against measles or measles and rubella.

What is MR-SIA?

📌 MR-SIA is a vaccine for all children at the target age, even if they have already been vaccinated.
📌 This aims to fill the vaccine shortage and prevent the influx of measles and rubella cases.

MR-SIA 2026?

📌 The target is children aged 6 months to 59 months.
📌 This is done due to the increase in measles cases and to prevent a wider spread of the disease.

Why is it important?

📌 Measles and rubella are very contagious and dangerous especially for small children.
📌 Through MR-SIA, children can be protected, and outbreaks in the community can be prevented.

Let's get involved and care for each other, let's fight Measles and Rubella together. Go to the nearest health center and fixed post for the vaccine! ⚕️
