In celebration of the 𝟒𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤, the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Regional Office I, II, and CAR joined the 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 on August 28, 2026.

Building on the Authority’s successful conduct of nationwide simultaneous coconut planting activities in previous years, this initiative brings together Local Government Units (LGUs), farmer cooperatives and associations (FCAs), coconut farmers, government agencies, private sector, civil society organizations, and other coconut industry stakeholders in a unified effort to advance the development and sustainability of the country’s coconut industry.

The activity also supports the implementation of the 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐌𝐂𝐏𝐏) and embodies a whole-of-nation approach in promoting and accelerating coconut planting and replanting across the country.
