Education remains the cornerstone of sustainable development in the Municipality of Rosario. Today, June 15, 2026, Municipal Mayor and LSB Chairperson Hon. Leovigildo K. Morpe led the Local School Board Monthly Meeting at the 4th Floor Conference Room of the Municipal Annex Building Poblacion B, Rosario, Batangas to address critical updates and plot the future of local public education. Driven by the core mission of leaving no student behind, the board tackled pivotal administrative and logistical concerns aimed at optimizing school operations and expanding opportunities for Rosarian youth.

The extensive discussions kicked off with detailed reports from our dedicated DepEd supervisors, Dr. Orlie G. Del Mundo of the Rosario East District and Dr. Bernarda M. Reyes of the Rosario West District. They laid out the current status of School Site Ownership and the physical condition of school buildings across both districts, a move that guarantees transparency and ensures that school infrastructures remain safe and legally protected. Looking toward secondary education advancement, the board also mapped out the implementation strategies for the Senior High School Program at Rosario Technical High School, a major milestone that will provide accessible specialized training for high schoolers.

The local board also proved that no request is too small when it comes to the welfare of our schools. The body quickly acted upon Balibago Elementary Schoolโ€™s request for new classroom chairs and teachersโ€™ tables, ensuring that both students and faculty have the comfortable environment they deserve. Additionally, to promote a more balanced and efficient distribution of workforce, the board authorized the transfer of two LSB items from the East District to the West District. By continuously upgrading facilities, expanding academic programs, and taking care of human resources, the LGU-Rosario and DepEd work hand-in-hand to cultivate a thriving, resilient, and highly competitive community of Rosarians.
