๐Œ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”โ€” The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) -Capiz, represented by ๐…๐Ž๐Ÿ‘ ๐…๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ž ๐Œ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ, Acting Chief of the Emergency Medical Unit, Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal โ€“ Capiz, and ๐…๐Ž๐Ÿ ๐‘๐จ๐ฃ๐š๐ง ๐€ ๐†๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ, Search and Rescue Responder of the Special Rescue Force, Roxas City Fire Station, participated in an interview with Bombo Radyo Roxas to discuss emergency preparedness, BLS and CPR readiness, and emergency medical response initiatives in Capiz.

The discussion referenced the May 21, 2026 committee meeting at the SP Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, Roxas City, Capiz, chaired by Board Member Dr. Cesar S. Yap Jr., on a proposed resolution encouraging LGUs and partner agencies to procure portable AmbuBag (Bag-Valve-Mask) devices and strengthen BLS and CPR capacity for emergency response. The BFP representatives expressed support for the initiative, highlighting its significance in enhancing local emergency response capabilities.

During the interview, FO2 Guillermo emphasized that the BFPโ€™s mandate extends beyond fire suppression to include rescue and emergency medical services. FO3 Valles, meanwhile, appealed to the public to promptly report incidents to emergency responders before documenting them to ensure faster and more effective response.

The activity reflects the BFPโ€™s continued commitment to efficient, life-saving emergency response through training, coordination, and public awareness initiatives.

Building on the partnership established last year, BFP Region 6 and the Local Government Unit of Dumalag once again strengthened their commitment to public safety through the CEREMONIAL SIGNING OF THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT for the future Dumalag Fire Station.

The ceremony was also attended by ๐—™๐—ฆ๐—ฆ๐—จ๐—ฃ๐—ง ๐—˜๐——๐—˜๐—ก ๐—  ๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—ง๐—”๐— ๐—œ๐—”-๐—•๐—”๐—จ๐—”, ๐——๐—ฆ๐—–, Provincial Fire Marshal of Capiz, along with key officials from the Local Government Unit of Dumalag, marking another milestone in strengthening disaster preparedness, public safety, and emergency response services in the municipality.

During the event, Mayor Castro commended the dedication of the BFP in ensuring fire safety and emergency preparedness. She expressed her hope that the new location would further improve the delivery of public service and strengthen coordination with the LGU and other government agencies.
