A spirit of compassion and service filled Capiz State University-Pontevedra Campus on September 8, 2026, as 110 volunteers from various public sector offices came together for a Bloodletting Activity held in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

Led by the Civil Service Commission Field Office Capiz under the leadership of Director II Vizur-Ty C. Gaitano, the activity gathered individuals who willingly gave a part of themselves to help save lives. Out of the 60 females and 50 males, a total of 110 volunteers who registered, 69 successful donors were able to contribute blood, which was turned over to the Philippine National Red Cross-Capiz Chapter for processing and future medical use.

Beyond the numbers, the event reflected the generosity and commitment of civil servants and community partners to support those in need.

The activity was made possible through the collaboration of Capiz State University-Pontevedra Campus, Philippine Red Cross-Capiz Chapter, LGU Pontevedra, Pontevedra Water District, Metro Roxas Water District, Capiz Golden Salakot Eagles Club, and the Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners-Province of Capiz, Inc.

The successful bloodletting activity once again demonstrated the power of volunteerism and community cooperation in making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Every drop counts. Every donor makes a difference. Together, we give hope and help save lives.
