CAPSU Strengthens Research and Innovation through Collaboration in Agri-Aqua and RAISE Program Activities
Capiz State University (CAPSU), in partnership with the Department of Science and TechnologyโPhilippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), Cavite State University (CvSU), and the Association of PAQE Professionals, co-organized the Agri-Aqua Innovation Pitch Fest 2026 on August 11, 2026, at the DOST-PCAARRD E. O. Tan Hall in Los Baรฑos, Laguna, with the theme โPartnership and Collaboration in Action: Accelerating Research Results for Development.โ
The event provided a venue for Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) to showcase research-based technologies and innovations with potential for commercialization and adoption. CAPSU was also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for its valuable contribution to the successful conduct of the activities.
The activities continued with the RAISE Program Sustainability Planning Workshop on August 12โ13, 2026, which focused on strategies to sustain the programโs projects and initiatives. On August 14, 2026, the RAISE Batch 1 Phase 2 Progress Review was conducted to assess accomplishments, challenges, and next steps.
Also in attendance were Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension (RDE); Prof. French A. Dampog, Director of the Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO); and Mr. Mark Glenn F. Villamor, Project Leader of RAISE Project 13 โ Regional Technology Business Incubator (TBI).
Through these activities, CAPSU continues to strengthen its commitment to research, innovation, technology transfer, commercialization, and entrepreneurship, while building partnerships that help transform research results into useful technologies and sustainable enterprises.
